sunrise cruiser-aka joel goldstein,boca raton fla,in our classified, advertised a speaker box cover.sent him a check 1o/03/04,he cashed 10 07/04.its almost a month and i still have no speaker box cover,even though on two different occasions a week apart he said he sent it.now after numerous emails,which he refuses to answer,he has not yet refunded my money.any of our fla.owners know this guy.i'm ticked,if i lived in fla,i would be knocking on his door.

That's not right ... and when you knock on his door, ask him if he voted today as well ... that's a Key State again!

I see he just sold his car. (Havent read the thread yet. it's next in line.) Maybe he's on his way to Canada or Mexico. Good luck Jan. (Call the police and report him. If any of the offering was online, it could be an FBI matter.)

hey jan....

sorry to hear about the crime..... hope he comes clean and pays you back... i've been taken advantage of a couple of times and been ripped, it gets to the point where its not the money....

dad told me once "" if you lend a someone $20, and you never see him again... then it was worth it"".... not exactly the same thing but everything comes around sooner or later..

If you sent him a check in the mail and he has fraudulently cashed it with no expectation to send you the part, it can be considered mail fraud and that is a federal offense. Call the Postal Inspection Service.
