catfish	sunrise cruiser-aka joel goldstein,boca raton fla,in our classified, advertised a speaker box cover.sent him a check 1o/03/04,he cashed 10 07/04.its almost a month and i still have no speaker box cover,even though on two different occasions a week apart he said he sent it.now after numerous emails,which he refuses to answer,he has not yet refunded my money.any of our fla.owners know this guy.i'm ticked,if i lived in fla,i would be knocking on his door. ------------------ This message has been edited by jan bruggeman on 11-02-2004 at 08:02 PM

idive	I see he just sold his car. (Havent read the thread yet. it's next in line.) Maybe he's on his way to Canada or Mexico. Good luck Jan. (Call the police and report him. If any of the offering was online, it could be an FBI matter.)
halicat	hey jan.... sorry to hear about the crime..... hope he comes clean and pays you back... i've been taken advantage of a couple of times and been ripped, it gets to the point where its not the money.... dad told me once "" if you lend a someone $20, and you never see him again... then it was worth it"".... not exactly the same thing but everything comes around sooner or later.. good luck
wallygator310	If you sent him a check in the mail and he has fraudulently cashed it with no expectation to send you the part, it can be considered mail fraud and that is a federal offense. Call the Postal Inspection Service. Wally

catfish	yea,buck youre not to far away,i know you can handle it.its not so much the money,the guys a blantant out and out liar.were all lucky he sold his car.received quite a few pm.s-if i could only get my hands around his neck,got his number,and called him,what an idiot.he deserves to have the ---- kicked out of him.then theres also karma,you know the rest. ------------------
