Anyone know what the trim piece around the radio and heat/AC vents is called. Is it still available from a dealer. Thanks, LK |

Larry - yes, they are slightly different. The 2000 and newer cats have a cut-out for the automatic audio control switch. Called dash center bezel,,,most likely an available part through Mopar parts department. I just recently got the top adjustable A/C vent vanes for our cat. |

LK - since the 97-99 bezel doesn't have the opening for the auto volume switch, you could always cut out an opening...break out the Dremel! FWIW... |

I'm wanting one to modify for a stereo/nav unit install. I don't need the opening for the auto volume adj. Just wanted to keep my original so I could go back to stock if needed. I'll not only need the ole dremel but some bondo and lots of elbow grease. If it turns out well I'll post some pics when finished. Thanks for everyone's comments... the POA site! LK |

If you want a stereo/navigation radio, why not use the Mopar RB1. Yeller Cat can help you with the wiring connector if I'm not mistaken. That way you can use the existing bezel without modification. It fits in the same hole. |
