Where are the pics from Woodward??? Germany (Heidelberg and Waldorf) were great. My first time in Europe. Friendly people, great food, great sites, incredible beer! Castle and old town in Heidelberg was awesome. Interesting that all of the taxi's were Mercedes. Most of the cars were MB, BMW, and VW. Saw a couple of PT cruisers. No sign of a Prowler. We did spot a McLaren(!) parked on the street in downtown Heidelberg. I'll try to post some pics soon. Mike |

I never drove... I was over there for some training so we had a shuttle between Heidelberg and Waldorf everyday. Once back in Heidelberg you can ride the trains and buses for free, and taxis are cheap. It was nice to see a place where you can actually DRIVE your car at speed without risk of jail or losing your license. The driver for our hotel/airport(Frankfurt) transfers said the lack of American cars is because they 'need more engine'. The weather was cool, with some rain, but still in the 70's most days. I carried a jacket, but rarely needed it. Here's my wife on the old bridge... |

I love that little tiny car. MB Smart? They look like a lot of fun for scooting around town. Wouldn't want to drive one on the interstate amongst all the semi's. Still cuter than a bug's ear. |
