What is the factory rear end gear ratio on a 97 Prowler,
are all the other Prowlers the same?

That does not specifically address the 97, but I am fairly sure it is the same transaxle for every year Prowler.
Someone will correct me if I am wrong. (probably with glee)

97 grar ratio:
1st gear - 2.84
2nd gear - 1.57
direct gear - 1.00
overdrive gear - 0.69
reverse gear - 2.21
overall top gear ratio:
in overdrive - 2.68

so the rear gear measured conventionally would be 3.89
