bbcarWhat is the factory rear end gear ratio on a 97 Prowler,
are all the other Prowlers the same?

That does not specifically address the 97, but I am fairly sure it is the same transaxle for every year Prowler.
Someone will correct me if I am wrong. (probably with glee)

idiveFrom 97-99 service manual
97 grar ratio:
1st gear - 2.84
2nd gear - 1.57
direct gear - 1.00
overdrive gear - 0.69
reverse gear - 2.21
overall top gear ratio:
in overdrive - 2.68
butchceeso the rear gear measured conventionally would be 3.89
MDProwlerEd, I've been so busy with work that all I've had time to do is talk about them. They are sitting on the bench in the garage waiting on me. Hopefully next weekend.
