Will any other color blue work? It seems that the Pt and some of the other Chrysler cars are the same blue. Although called different blues do any match? What about the blue of other car makers? Any chance of one of them working? By the way, I need the brush touch up not the spray. Thanks for any input or advice.

mikee - I'd stick with the Mopar parts # 4889751AA
for the brush-in applicator. I believe the Sebring's dark blue pearl coat color to be the same,,,,but don't quote me on that.

If for any reason you can not find your color code at a Chrysler dealer in touchup, you can go to any automotive paint supply store and have then mix up some for you. Some of the larger Paint supply stores can also put the paint in a spray can for you. This is what I did when I had to do some paint repair on the bottom of the nose of my car. Florissant Paint supply in St. Louis mixed me up a pint of paint and I had them make up 2 cans of spray and saved the rest for touch up.

Buy the way if any other Chrysler paint will work, when you give the dealer the paint code on your car it will not matter what the car is, they go just by the color code.
I work for a Dodge dealer and am currently on strike, or I could look it up and tell you what other cars in the Chrysler line use the same paint, of course any Chrysler or Dodge dealer can do this for you.

dc,dicontinued bottles of touchup, about a year and a half ago.you might get the part#and have a dealer do a search.you might get lucky.prowler colors are all by themselves.if you have it mixed use only ppg.what they will mix is basecoat.its flat,no shine,do what i do ,take a seperate touchup bottle add half base and half clear,it works.and has a shine when it dries.ppg will only have a formula for basecoat.no single stage.be ready for sticker shock, when you see how much.

I had a dealer do a search for a touch up bottle of "Prowler Purple". It worked OK but due to its age...a good portion of the bottle has catalyzed. I like Jan's idea! Just wish I knew how to do it.

I knew they did away with purple touch-up a while back, but I didn't know they canned it for all colors. That's good info to know.

When I bought my Purple Prowler I asked my parst dept. to get me 2 bottles, they had 1 in stock and it was starting to dry. I added lacquer thinner to it and made it like brand new. If you find old touch up paint by either mopar or dupli color lacquer thinner works perfect to freshen it up.

P.S. This was just last month.

Some colors as I recall are listed as Prowler -----
such as purple, however I would bet that candy red is the same as inferno red that is used on most mopars of the same vintage. The same goes for inca gold and probably a few others. Vipers were the same way at first they had exclusive colors but now they share quite a few colors with regular mopars. One of my jobs at Westport Dodge is touch up of new and used cars and I have over 50 bottles of touch up in my tool box, If by some chance I have a bottle of Mulholand Blue in my box I would be glad to send it to you after I get back to work.

jan I can verify that after I get back to work and look at my color chart. I do know that they quit listing the Prowler colors as Prowler specific, they only did that for the first 2 or 3 years. I also know that some Viper colors are shared with reg mopars so why would not Prowlers? The only reason I know on Vipers is we are a Dodge dealer and I have touched up several Vipers but never a Prowler, except mine. A 2003 Viper in red is the same red used on pickup trucks (flame red)on the pickups and (Viper red) on Vipers.
