He ran a 12.853 @ 106.06 mph against my 13.190 @ 104.37 mph tonight. He backed it up with another 12.943... with his IDa Automotive twin turbo... Al, Welcome to the 12 Second club. Butchcee becomes the 8th member of 12 second Prowler club... We had a good turnout at Englishtown, NJ tonight. 8 Prowlers and 10 300s & Intrepids & one Ram Hemi. The track waived the roll bar rule for convertibles under 14 seconds during the time trials. We had to dial-in a 14.0 for the bracket racing... Thanks to Englishtown for relaxing their rules for us tonight... Rich B. was there with his 3rd generation IDA Automotive twin turbo and had a best time of 13.6. But Rich won the bracket race and had the best RT of the night .005. Here's Al after his 12 second run in the time trials. Rich on left & George on right. Rich won the bracket race & George was runnerup. Rich is former Top Fuel racer and told me his top run was 6.2 in 1989... Here's Al cooling down his Kat... Rich's 3rd generation Ida Twin Turbo. Rich is only running 6lbs of boost... NJ & Del Prowler owners... Pete, Steve, John, George... Trey arrived in time for a couple of time trial runs and ran in the bracket race... About half our group stopped by Friday's for late snack after the races & trophy presentations.. Thanks to George Deane (SteelBlue01) for setting up the events.. Terrific time tonight by all and tomorrow we're off for more fun... ------------------

Thanks to George Deane for putting together a great event.and congrats to all the other trophy winners.It was great meeting everyone. I think Laddie would have given me more heat if he hooked up better--he was coming on strong at the finish. I'm looking forward to doing it again.

I figured I had to beat you at something. So, I wanted to get the pics up first... George has picture of us in the event section with link to his home page.. Congrats again Al. Outstanding... SActually, you're the 7th person to get into the 12 second Prowler club & 8th Prowler... Here's more pics from last night... Rich's side view of his car... George Deane came prepared in his Hemi Ram with all supplies & support items we might need.... We had lanes 9 & 10 reserved for the new Mopar club... Two Prowlers leaving the line... Here's Al lined up to get to the line... 1st round of Bracket racing in staging lanes... Here's final round of Bracket race Rich beating George. Notice Rich ran a 14.03 against a 14.02 dialin... (in the brackets we could now dialin anything faster than 14.0)...

I think I can safely eke out some more power with timing mods and knock off a few tenths. If I hit lotto, I'll be in the 11's with a stroker turbo.
