thanks for posting the pic/site CJ.

if i remember correctly, with the garage door CLOSED, (depending on the electric door chain/opener positioned) you can lift the Prowler 42 inches off of the floor!!!

you can do alot of work at that max ht.

alot of shops use this type lift

I would think it would be OK for the prowler

it is an option if you do not have the room for a regular lift

Looks like the car could be kinda tippy and there is no way to work under it (basically, a lift to change your tires)

they do have safety locks.
alot more stable than you think. I know of a `67 Hemi GTX that sat on one for over a year as it was being worked on.....the owner took the tires home so it could not be moved

I do understand about the locks but, there is an aweful lot of the vehicle hanging over both ends and was thinking the whole thing could tip forward or back depending on the weight distribution (or lack thereof)

Rich---only kidding about the midget joke! It would be very handy if you wanted to do tire and brake work. Waxing it would be easier. It has its uses for sure. If your limited to garage height i think its GO!

CT, no problem, god knows your not a midget !

The height is great for tire work, frame work/cleaning/polishing,instead of lying on my back straining neck muscles, etc.

i,m thinging about it seriously.

THANKS for all the input!
if anyone else has any info ,feel free to post.

You think the guy that took his tires home ever figured out that there are a lot of other wheels and tires that would fit?
