...Someone on the board posted a picture long ago of a Kandi Kat with a Chrysler emblem on the back....never could find out which car it was off of.....so recently I went to a local dealer and just looked at all the emblems on all the new cars....found one on a Sebring that "looked right"...it was like $25 or so plus another $6. for the medallion that goes in the center.....looks classy on the Kandi red....not sure how it would look on other colors, but the dark red, chrome and gold combination looks very nice....must trim a couple of plastic mounting tabs off the back side and it goes on with its own two sided tape....the medallion in the center glues or tapes in also.....this is not my car in the pix, not sure who it belonged to, but thats what mine looks like now.....to who ever owns this car, thanx for a great tip.....

Looks cool. I did the same to the back of my Weekender using the deck lid wings emblem from a 03/04 Concord list price $54.25 POA price $35.81.It measures 17 1/4 X 2 3/8 and would look in proportion on the deck lid.It also is adhesive back. On a 03/04 Sebring 2dr deck lid ,that emblem is 14 1/2 X 1 3/8 but is a bolt on. List $49.50 POA price $32.67. On a Sebring 4dr the emblem measures the same as the 2dr but the price is better. List $32.60 POA $21.51. I cannot tell how it attaches however. Anybody wanting to purchase any of the above can call 262-763-9182 central 8-5

Larry, I was wondering where the snow went in Indiana until I saw the license plate (thought it was yours)

I think the car in question belongs to Joe & Linda Ruggerio of Apopka, FL and he also has one on his trailer. I liked this idea too and did the same to our kat last spring. Also looks fab on a Mulholland.

I think it would look great on my Black Kat. Which Sebring model and what position on the car should I ask for? I assume the front grill, but just want to be sure.

Do you think it is OK to put on a Plymouth?

Thanks for the great pics.

kevina....why NOT put it on a Plymouth....they are still Chrysler products....the part is called..
.... garnish, fr bumper, ctr ..... part #MR478622

...you also need to order the center medallion....don't have the number for it, but it is on the same page in the parts book....the whole deal cost less than $35.
I always thought the cars need something in that area.....I also have a yellow Kat....not sure if I want this piece on the yellow....may opt for a little 50s' style scalloped pinstriping....but the emblem might look good too...dunno

You're right Tangled, they are all DCX cars, so the emblem would be appropriate.

One last question, this looks like the one on my '02 Sebring Conv. What year does your part number refer too?

Thanks.
Kevin

If D/C had put the emblems on all the Kats, we would be taking them off to clean up the looks. Oh well......

its personal taste. think your placement down low sets it off nice.

i did my weekender 2 yrs ago with the wings logo on the top, and the round chrysler logo on the outside center. certain add-ons ENHANCE, while others DETRACT .thats what makes us unique.

Out of curiousity, was there ever an elaborate Plymouth logo? It seems like blaspheming to attach the Chrysler wings to a Plymouth. I can't recall ever seeing wings or anything else going along with the ship...even if orange ships are faster then "PBR" lookalikes with wings

I have a 01 and 02 Chrysler Prowler! Chrysler is the main Company. Plymouth was a Division. Why not put it on a Plymouth Prowler if you like the way it looks! JMO

The Shimmers are "cat" wings and designed to work on both Plymouth and Chrysler "cats".

The emblems were installed on both our Cat and trailor. I will look up and post the part numbers we used, later this week. Since the trailor is a smaller 9/10 replica of the car, we went with a smaller emblem on it. They look great and help answer people's question "what kind of car is that". It's a Chrysler of course.

Thanks Joe & Linda....

...really liked the idea first time I saw it..., it looks factory, "art deco" like the car, and for only $35....should last the lifetime of the car or until you get tired of it
