Hi all ... long time no post, but to keep to my word I am still looking for a cat this winter/spring (might be working something with Hollywood on his high mileage ride) Anyway - just curious what everyone 's premium is on their Prowler per year or 6 months: Age: And any other variables that you can think of that might make a difference. thanks so much! |

The state and even the county within, where you live can be a major factor. When I moved from Utah to Georgia in 1985, my insurance rates increased 4 fold. At the time I had an Mazda RX7 which I had no difficulty getting insurance on in Utah. I had so many problems getting insurance in Georgia and the rates were so high when I could get it, that I traded it in on an 86 T-Bird. Other factors that can affect rates are, how many cars you are insuring, occasional or daily driver, do you have your house insured with the same provider , etc. I am paying now @ Hanover Insurance $923.00 a year at 58 years of age with full coverage, $500 deductable, 3 Vehicles, Prowler listed as recreational use only and I also have my house insured with them as well. I have made three claims this year (bad year), so I am afraid of what my premium will be next year. Up to now we were pretty clean. |

You may not know this.On uninsured motorist ins. you only have to pay on one car regardless of how many cars you have . Check with your carrier on this, they won't tell you. |

After nearly 50 years and 1000s of cars, watch this jinx me. I never carried anything but liability. One car I financed for 4 months, and had to buy full coverage. Then I went back to liability only. I can afford to total out this car and still be dollars ahead. Hope this one doesn't make me regret it. Same way with extended warrantees. Never spent my money on them. Oh Well. |

We have an exhibition policy similar to the superbird; premium for full coverage with 4500 mile limit is about $400/yr. Our Kat has to be locked up at night. I did ask about a Viper; regular policy was $2000/yr exhibition $450. Gordon |
