We simply have no excess money to pay for no shows. The Biltmore will accomodate 5% extra so we can squeeze in only 6 extra on day of event.

Note - people WILL be able to cruise over with us and pay admission to the Biltmore Estate on the day of the event. You just won't be able to join the group luncheon.

Sign me (1) up (my parents too if they haven't already paid) for the lunch. For some reason I though we could pay for the Biltmore at registration!!??

If I make the reservations for thirty extra people that don't show up or have changed their minds, that is about $500 we will have to pay that we don't have. I am not as concerned about collecting the money today as I am about fnding out if people who haven't paid still intend on attending the lunch.

I appreciate most people's understanding. However to the few of you that have sent derogatory emails to me (and I'm sure you know who you are) all I can say is &%@# you. I am not going to respond to abusive emails and I have enough class to not post your names. As far as I know neither of you have ever planned an event and have no concept of all the work it takes.

The whole idea of having a Prowler event is to get together, haver fun, do some cruising. If you get so bent of shape over a lunch - stay home. As far as I'm converned, you aren't going to enjoy yourself and just make others miserable too.

I am certainly not going to risk $500 of my own money or risk giving POA a bad name by not paying for lunches we request but the people do not show up and pay for.

I will NOT be doing the Biltmore tour or lunch.

As a matter of fact I didn't know if I could make it at all until Monday.

I emailed Gary Archer and told him that I'm doing business in Asheville on Wed. morning and then heading over to meet up with eveyone on Wed. afternoon. I'll do registration when I get there. I'll be leaving on Fri. morning.

Sorry to all those who are organizing this event for not pre-registering, but I really had to move some things around to make it Wed.

There is no problem getting people into the Biltmore. It is the lunch that I had to give the number for today. Everyone that registered for the lunch - paid or unpaid can eat with the group (if my math is correct) Anybody else joing us will simply have to pay for their own lunch and eat elsewhere in the restaurant or at another food venue on the Estate.
