I'm 6'2" 180 lbs and fit in the car perfectly. With the roof up it's a little bit of a tight squeeze when you're over 6' but shouldn't have an impact in your buying decision.

Calibus --

Welcome to the POA. This topic has come up many, many times. Seems like anytime someone over 6' thinks anout buying a Prowler they pose these questions.

The following thread, one of many, discusses these concerns. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/007249.html

I suggest that if you still have questions/concerns after reading this then do a search of the threads for the word "comfortable" and you will find several other threads to read.

Go luck in finding the Kat of your dreams and again, WELCOME!

Rick

If you need help locating a Prowler, please contact me. I can help.

The head engineer on Prowler, Craig Love, is at least 6'4" and he owns one!!!

WELCOME!

I'm 6' 4" and 240 and I fit fine with the top down. It's a little tight getting in and out with the top up. I have plenty of leg room.

Fitting in the Prowler to me is a qusetion of atitude. The "smiles per mile" makes a minor inconvenience like getting in seem trivial.

Jan B., What is the fix for the doors not opening wide enough? You said it was and easy one....sounds like my kind of fix. Anybody that knows how to do this, please post or email me. Thanks

Alittle labor and $8.00 in material. I've seen Jan's door open wide,,,,,excellent mod if you need that extra opening.

Thanks AC, I wish it had the wider opening incorporated in the original design. I don't need the extra room, but some of my older/bigger friends/family do. Craig

Calibus, welcome to the POA. First of all, go on a diet. lol. I am also 6 2 and weigh 225 or 230 and I am old on top of that. No problem whatsoever with the top down. Not a big deal with the top up after the first or second attempt.
The car is a blast. See who is near NYC and ask to come over and sit in their car. They will allow it, most likely. You can do a search on the main page, Prowler Owners Registry and sort by state.

Jan B., Thanks, but AC hooked me up with a thread on the subject. It might be the one your talking about. My wife said she would love to have it done to her Katt, but I had to practice on mine first. She is such a non-selfish person. lol
