I saw the posts by CJ about the new Prowler models. I went to Michaels tonight and saw about 5 or 6 of them. Next to them was one 1:24 AMT Prowler model (unpainted white) with trailer and one AMT Black Howler(?). Are these new items? I bought the Prowler but not the Howler - should I go back and get it? |

The AMT kit has been around for awhile, There are actually 3 different version of the box. One has the a photo Prowler Concept car only pictured, one has a Photo of the actual production 97 Prowlwer car only, and the third has a high angle photo of the production 97 Prowler & Trailer. I have all three. The Howler kit is fairly new, but I would not wait too long because these things disappear without warning. There is also an Revelle plastic model kit that seems to be harder to find. I have one but, I built the trailer. So I am looking for another to keep sealed. |

The black Howler kit is all metal and has a lot of features. the trunk opens, etc....Pretty cool model. the Revell Prowler models are plentiful online...I have a small stack of those...some built...some ready to go. |
