Driving! For us, that's a big reason for going. Of course it's only a four and a half hour cruise for us! |

Drive it is about seven hours and should be beautiful ... weather permitting. Marty when will you be leaving? ... if I go the northern route it takes me through Louisville. |

We'll be driving, cause we don't have a trailer. It's about 10 hours from Michigan. Hoping for good weather, so we don't have to put the top up. |

Driving the Kat and the Kat A Van will start at the shop here hope to have 15 to 20 cars by the time we reach the Hotel. |

Driving a motorhome with prowler in a trailer from Southern California.We plan on spending about 4or 5 weeks seeing whatever we can.Never been in that part of country before. |

George... your going to have a great time. it is really beautiful out that way (although prices tend to get expensive in the smokies). I've driven all over the continental US many times (except Alaska) and through southern Canada past the Detroit side. Lots of adventures, but never been able to have a vacation just for the h*ll of it. Not a clue at this time if I can go or not... we shall see. |

Not to be intending ta shed too much rain on this thread...BUT.. We (Jack and I) changed our plans and can't attend,-we were formally dis-invited by the event hotel management. No life companions allowed!!(dogs). "Take that smokie hotel and......!!! " Maybe next year's National Event hotel will be as classy and life companion friendly as the Colorado Westin!?? The bright side is, that Alex will be buying AC, Lethia, Marc, Jack and I a Prime Rib Dinner on or about that time in Cheyenne Wyoming!!? XOXO ------------------ |
