Sorry to hear that Fredd.......we've been lucky this year. Although it's been very cold.........we've missed most of the snow!

Hey Fredd, your Jersey snow has made its way to Connecticut where RedCat is hiding in the garage. I bought the trailer but now I too may purchase a plow. What do you think of adding some chains on the back wheels?

We haven`t seen the grass here in Western Pennsylvania since November. The 12 to 24 inches we got over the weekend just adds to the total.

We haven't had a lot in the way of snow, but it has to be one of the coldest winters I can remember in a few years. When we hit 30's it feels like warm weather-imagine that!

The earth's warming/cooling is cyclical and has been going on for millions of years.

I read a very good article the other day showing that warming trend has been occuring for the last 10,000 years.

I wonder what cars and factorys were contributing to that back then?

As an interesting sidebar, it was drummed into our heads in high school (early 70's) that we were headed for an Ice age.
As one with a geology degree, I can tell you geologicially, it is impossible to get a shift like that and in only 30 years........

Least anyone forgets, this has nothing to do with warming or cooling and all about power and control.

It's amazing the difference a few hours of travel makes. Gary got 5" in Indy and I've got 16" in Columbus. What a mess! It sure is pretty though.

1" of sleet and ice here in NC. We missed the bullet. Heavy belt of snow Just above us and sleet vs. the freezing rain.
Still the 1" of sleet and ice worse than the 4" of snow we had 10 days ago.5th time this year kids have been out of school.

I sell heating oil and propane, so I love it! Last few winters have been hard on the P&L.

Now it finally stopped raining here and even though it was 28 degrees this morning, it was sunny and dry enough for the Kat to make the trip to work.

And it's about time - this is the first I driven my Prowler in over a month!

It looks great this afternoon, and it's getting close to quitting time - now for the ride home!

On Sunday, I flew into D.C. I rented a car in D.C... and drove to central Va.... Normally a 2-hour trip, it took me 4 hours, travelling an average of 30 mph. Had to stop many times to clean the ice off of the winshield wipers. Saw many snow plows. Not many drivers at all on the road. In some places I almost could not tell where the side of the road was. I was on a 4-lane highway (2 lanes each way)... When there was no other traffic around, I just stayed in the middle of the road.

Just a few days ago, I was in Fort Lauderdale, wearing shorts and t-shirt, sitting on an outside deck at a restaurant, soaking in the rays.... What a change of scenery!!

I played golf today. It was snowing on Mt. Whitney when the game was done. It was probably in the 60's. A little chilly.

Good luck digging out to all our Prowlin' friends in Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Keep your spirits up by knowing in a few weeks it will be cruising weather!

Hey it was in the forties here this morning - sun shining with a few clouds. I drove the Prowler in to work again this morning - just to get one more drive in before the rain starts tomorrow.

I can't believe what a difference make in a few miles. Here in Elkhart, NO snow fell over the week-end and the roads are as bare as a babies bottom, Snowblower ready to blow and no snow to be had. Clod as H&^% though. Would trade cold for snow anytime.

Ijust bought my kat Aweek ago and its sits here like a piece of furniture. I have some items I need to get serviced and that is on hold. I feel bad if an owner only has a short time left under warranty and can't get there with the bad weather. I guess you call for the appointment for the first reasonable day? Yea Jersey got rocked and not by Springsteen this time.
