Fredd06Blizzard of 2003 - Thinking of putting a plow on my Prowler to make some extra cash - Lotta snow here in NJ

Fredd
2000 Woodward Edition

CJSorry to hear that Fredd.......we've been lucky this year. Although it's been very cold.........we've missed most of the snow!
RedCatHey Fredd, your Jersey snow has made its way to Connecticut where RedCat is hiding in the garage. I bought the trailer but now I too may purchase a plow. What do you think of adding some chains on the back wheels?

Bruce

Dave MillsWe have 24 inches on the ground right now with ten more on the way this afternoon. I am ready for Spring!
skuterWe haven`t seen the grass here in Western Pennsylvania since November. The 12 to 24 inches we got over the weekend just adds to the total.

DR PROWLERWe haven't had a lot in the way of snow, but it has to be one of the coldest winters I can remember in a few years. When we hit 30's it feels like warm weather-imagine that!
RedCatCan I vote on the subject of Global Warming? Haven't seen it lately!

The earth's warming/cooling is cyclical and has been going on for millions of years.

I read a very good article the other day showing that warming trend has been occuring for the last 10,000 years.

I wonder what cars and factorys were contributing to that back then?

As an interesting sidebar, it was drummed into our heads in high school (early 70's) that we were headed for an Ice age.
As one with a geology degree, I can tell you geologicially, it is impossible to get a shift like that and in only 30 years........

Least anyone forgets, this has nothing to do with warming or cooling and all about power and control.

tangled up in BLUE...Had to take the orange Kat off the road a couple of days ago, snow finally got too deep to get out of the garage....tough for the JEEP to get around today....it will be spring in a few months
Gary CYepper.... we got about 5 inches of snow here over the weekend, I LOVE IT, except some idiot ran into the back of the CTS, no longer a virgin, now we can be a wildman, thanks to the unknown person that DIDN'T leave a note, what goes around comes around....
DublinOHIt's amazing the difference a few hours of travel makes. Gary got 5" in Indy and I've got 16" in Columbus. What a mess! It sure is pretty though.
JCProwler68 today here on the west coast and sunny! Love it and time to give the kat a bath...
Randy Cobb1" of sleet and ice here in NC. We missed the bullet. Heavy belt of snow Just above us and sleet vs. the freezing rain.
Still the 1" of sleet and ice worse than the 4" of snow we had 10 days ago.5th time this year kids have been out of school.

I sell heating oil and propane, so I love it! Last few winters have been hard on the P&L.

TLRandallNow it finally stopped raining here and even though it was 28 degrees this morning, it was sunny and dry enough for the Kat to make the trip to work.

And it's about time - this is the first I driven my Prowler in over a month!

It looks great this afternoon, and it's getting close to quitting time - now for the ride home!

ProwlerGTSBTW Fredd we got nearly 30 inches on the ground here.Pics soon
CatDudeOn Sunday, I flew into D.C. I rented a car in D.C... and drove to central Va.... Normally a 2-hour trip, it took me 4 hours, travelling an average of 30 mph. Had to stop many times to clean the ice off of the winshield wipers. Saw many snow plows. Not many drivers at all on the road. In some places I almost could not tell where the side of the road was. I was on a 4-lane highway (2 lanes each way)... When there was no other traffic around, I just stayed in the middle of the road.

Just a few days ago, I was in Fort Lauderdale, wearing shorts and t-shirt, sitting on an outside deck at a restaurant, soaking in the rays.... What a change of scenery!!

sunbirdI played golf today. It was snowing on Mt. Whitney when the game was done. It was probably in the 60's. A little chilly.
Todd CameronJust got back in from cruisin the new blue in Hollywood...
Randy CobbGood luck digging out to all our Prowlin' friends in Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Keep your spirits up by knowing in a few weeks it will be cruising weather!

TLRandallHey it was in the forties here this morning - sun shining with a few clouds. I drove the Prowler in to work again this morning - just to get one more drive in before the rain starts tomorrow.

Steven R. GaryI can't believe what a difference make in a few miles. Here in Elkhart, NO snow fell over the week-end and the roads are as bare as a babies bottom, Snowblower ready to blow and no snow to be had. Clod as H&^% though. Would trade cold for snow anytime.
mannydIjust bought my kat Aweek ago and its sits here like a piece of furniture. I have some items I need to get serviced and that is on hold. I feel bad if an owner only has a short time left under warranty and can't get there with the bad weather. I guess you call for the appointment for the first reasonable day? Yea Jersey got rocked and not by Springsteen this time.
Todd Cameronbetter some Kat furniture then no furniture at all
