No. Bought my 99 this past July with 16K miles on it. Has minor problems. Previous owners dinged the nose quite a bit. the passenger side mirror rattles in its housing and I've had some transmission issues, the first from "unknown" causes, according to a dealer. A seal ruptured causing it to slip out of gear. It's actually at the dealer right now for that again (10 weeks later) because they didn't get it right the first time. Plus I didn't get front bumpers with it. They were removed by a previous owner and not provided, not that I wanted them anyway. Otherwise, very happy daily driver at 24K miles now. Picked up the Alley Cat on Jan.17th, 2000. He arrived at the dealership in Nebraska on Christmas Eve Day, 1999 and they called me that night to say Santa had left my present there!!! Took me afew weeks to arrange a short vacation to go pick him up and drive him home to Az. Still smiling after 23,000 easy, babied miles  |
