I have my 2000 Silver Prowler in the shop at Allen Samuels new location just north of Fort Worth on I-35. They are waiting on work as to what they can do to fix or replace the rims. I only have 6000 miles on the car and it is just barely visible, but I can see where it is starting. My question is, if they tell me they won't fix it, what can I do to get the problem corrected? Thanks. |

If that dealership will not replace the wheels or do not complete the work to your satisfaction, I suggest going to another dealership for service. I have used five different dealerships over the past three years. The last one would not replace one of my wheels or my convertible top (the chrome was peeling on the rim and the rear window was coming off on the top). I went to a local Dodge dealer on Tuesday that I was referred to because they have a really good Viper tech. That dealership went above and beyond by not only taking care of all my needs, but both the new wheel and top were at the dealership the next day!!! So while two dealerships did not/would not replace the wheel, the last one did without question, and that's all that matters. ------------------ • MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |

Army: Check out Bankston Chrysler in Frisco. That's where most of the DFW owners take their kats for service. Neal is there and is one of the best Prowler Techs available. He is really good! My kat is having the rims taken care of right now. Unfortunately two sets have now been ruined by Discount Tire in mounting them - so we are getting ready for set 3. I have a 2000 with 8000. E-mail me if you need any info. Tami |

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the replacements will likely do the same thing. From what I understand it can be delayed with allot of TLC and keeping the dust cleaned off. I have silver wheels so I have not had this problem. |

ArmyQB - do a search and print out the material that the other owners have had to deal with,,,,,then take that along to the dealership with you for complete support. I have had only to replace one front wheel due to flaking. No problem from the dealership service department. Good Luck! PS - do you remember Joe Bilino? ------------------
