Thanks to everyone who came to Cruisin' the Coast 2002 and the Prowler Drags. I think there were like 5,400 registered cars (4,100 last year). We actually had 40 Prowlers this year that I met or saw driving their Kat. The most we had in one group at one time was 24 Kats and that was one of those spur of the moment things where everything falls into place perfectly and most likely you'll never be able to duplicate.... On Saturday, we left in a group to go to Rice Pavilion in Gulfport to get a couple people registered. We all got parked in the lot and we had 19 Prowlers lined up in one row. As we left, Big-Boyz Toys interviewed and filmed all of us as we went in front of their stage area (they will have a CTC video for sale $20). By the time we got through and ready to head out we had picked up two more Kats (now 21). We're now heading east toward Ocean Springs (12 miles from Gulfport). And, the traffic is bumper to bumper in both directions. After we get on Hwy 90 (Beach Road) we're strung out over a mile. So, Our first group pulls over at one of the beach turnout sites and wait for the other Prowlers. Once they catch up we now formed a double line and start leading the parade. We stayed in this formation for 10 miles all the way to Ocean Springs. And, during this we picked up three more Prowlers and now were up to 24. Here's the list of the people who attended Cruisin' the Coast and/or the Prowler Drags: Last Name, First Name, Screen Name, State Thanks again to all who came. Karen and I really enjoyed ourselves and hope you did to ...

Laddie - thanks to you and Karen for planning & hosting. I think a lot of people enjoyed the freedom of doing their own thing when they felt like it and joining in with others at times also. When we looked arounbd there always seemed to be 20 something cars together but it was always a different mix of people.

Thanks so much Laddie and Karen, we had one whale of a good time. I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to hit the track, I will be keeping the time slip. We enjoyed seeing everyone who attended the drags. Some pretty fast kats in this group for sure! Gordon & Annie |

Laddie and Karen - Like I said elsewhere in another thread, GREAT JOB! I see many names that are not so familar,,,,,,,I hope everyone was made aware and felt welcome to register at the POA. I see Tony Noto registered today. We all have to stay on top of getting new or older owners to register and participate in our events = get the word out about this fine website. |

Laddie, Thank you for making this a great fun event. It is always a pleasure to follow your lead down the road. Several people commented over the weekend that they love to listen to you lead the group on the radio and I'd definitely agree with that. Look forward to talking and listening to you again down the road. Phil ------------------ |
