I finally had time to post some pictures of my cat, and would like to take the opportunity to say hello to all our fellow prowler owners over the Atlantic. I also would like to thanks all people involved in keeping this website alive as this is for us (European owners) a very important source of information, as we get no support from DC here. Like many of you, this car is a love story. For us it is also a challenge (passing all regulations), and I can tell you that I value each mile I'm driving. I hope to be able to meet all of you next year at the POA, and make it so a real international event ! Great pictures. I see you are required to have a front license plate = bummer. How is it attached to your left front bumper? |

Those 6 month seemed 6 years to me, but was worth the wait. Have been arrested 3 times by police officers the 1st month (they are curious like everybody), can't imagine what would have happend if driving without plates Front plate is mandatory and I screwed a plate frame in the bumper (no choice...) |

Ollie - first off, I'd have stolen the plates from another car,,,,,preferably a rental car unit. Next, no drilling in front bumpers to install plate,,,,,duct tape it on (that's DUCK tape to our Californian readers) Arrested? Didn't you see the movie with Steve McQueen, BULLET? |

Sounds like it's too late for Olivier, but there's a really good way to mount a front plate without drilling any holes in the bumper. It's also cheap, possibly using scrap parts you have laying around, requiring just a piece of angle (aluminum or whatever) and a couple of bolts. See an oldie but goodie at: -GRROWL |

Larry, I really like your sense of humor, but how long do you thing the cops will need to find out who is the owner of the only prowler in Geneva ? This is the main problem when driving such a car, you can't tell it was not me ! |

Oliver, welcome aboard. Congratulations on outwaiting them on the red tape. I bet you turn some heads over there with the only cat. It would be cool if you could make it to the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS next August. I think there will be 100 cats there. |

Olivier, Welcome to the family. You might want to explain what "arrested" in Europe means. Here, it means to actually be taken in to the police station. ------------------ |

Olivier, welcome from the north central USA. Talk about being one of a kind! Nice shots of your car in Geneva. I've been to your airport and flown over your country's beautiful hills and towns in the Spring time. It looked like a movie set. I was on my way to Munich because I didn't see more than the view from take off and landing in Geneva but what I saw was so scenic! Glad to have you monitoring this great site for Prowler lovers. |

Of course when I said arrested it is not the appropriate translation, I meant stopped by a police officer to check the papers. They were all very gentle and interested by the car. Happend to some of you ? |
