Hi,
I am new to this site and very impressed with the forum on Kats. I have had mine about six months and have agreat time driving it. It turns heads every where I go.
I am looking for a luggage racks for my Kat. I play hockey and there is no room for my gear. I am also interested in a trailer? Any suggestions? Thanks John

John = Welcome to the POA!

The factory trailers are most likely now gone, but keep checking EBay, newspapers, AutoTrader, and our own FREE CLASSIFIED section as some do show up at times. Mopar makes a Prowler luggage rack and a PT Cruiser luggage rack (chrome). You will need the Mopar hitch, still available. Both racks will work for your needs. I'm going with the PT Cruiser rack myself. Good luck!

Glad you found us and join us often. Feel free to ask questions and add your input to any topic.

Hi John. Congrats & welcome to the POA...

I've seen the PT Chrome luggage rack and it looks much, much better than the Prowler plain grey (which breaks unless reinforced).

Here's a link to Bob Harder's scrapbook here that has several pics of the PT rack with different carrying bags attached...

Here's another link from the Gen Dis Forum on the PT rack... http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006683.html

Hey AC: You can get it at Wyckoff (the link posted above) which is where I've ordered several things for $465 - I've found it at one other place for $449 and if you want that link e-mail me and I'll get it for you. Take care! T

Welcome to POA - There are alot of us in Texas and try to get together regularly - check out the Events page often. We plan on getting the PT Cruiser luggage rack. The Prowler rack is no longer made nor are the trailers. I'm not sure why Wyckoff is still showing them - they haven't updated their site for awhile it appears. Good luck and hope to see you soon at an event! Tami and Ken
