Interesting to see how the poll results (favorite colors) matches up against how many of that color were produced (for sale). There's a pretty good correlation between colors produced and those that love that color (as I suspected). However, there seems to be an overwhelming love of the Woodward and Candy Red (aside from the obvious High Voltage Blue) -- beyond what was produced. So if you ask me what colors will gain value the quickest, it would probably be these two. [img] |

Tarzan, Bravo!!! Nice Job... I was wondering the same thing myself & does make the poll even more interesting... Maybe we could redo the poll & rate our choices 1-12 in order to derive to the conclusion of which color is the best... This way people would be forced to choose more something other than the Kat they bought.... Just a thought... WildBill |

Really interesting stuff... I got to ask you, the graphics on that graph look real familiar, what program did you use to generate it? Given your profession, I think I can guess... |

I've already decided on next weeks poll, and yes it also has to do with color! Should be really interesting! BTW, nice job on the graph Tarzan |

WildBill -- Great idea. That way we can get a better idea of what really is the most desired color. Mike? Is that your idea? PO2001 -- I used Excel, pasted it in PowerPoint, and saved it as a .jpg file. Also, inasmuch as folks seemed to like Candy Red and Woodward more than what produced, just the opposite occurs for Black. Seems like a lot of Black owners didn't vote for their own color (CJ -- you haven't logged in enough as a guest and voted for Black!) |

I got off the site and back on and it loaded right up. Pretty cool, I agree. The question is, what percentage of units produced are represented by registered owners on this site? Is yellow over represented compared to other colors. |

Good analysis and I think you may be correct about future collectibles. The Black Tie could be a sleeper. While it never went over great, I don't think anyone finds it offensive and with the limited number, it too should hold value pretty good. Top three collectibles - Woodward, Candy, Black Tie (obviously not including HV Blue) |

quote: I disagree (as a previous owner of BT#5). There still a number of BT's out there (new at dealers) who are severly discounting them. Discounting more so then the yellow's. Also, try trading one it. You'll find it is worth no more (and possibly less) then any other color. ------------------ Driving a car is just transportation, |

no one voted for black because black isn't a color... its the absence of all colors....a class by itself.. |
