[img] Bravo!!! Nice Job... I was wondering the same thing myself & does make the poll even more interesting... Maybe we could redo the poll & rate our choices 1-12 in order to derive to the conclusion of which color is the best... This way people would be forced to choose more something other than the Kat they bought.... Just a thought... WildBill I got to ask you, the graphics on that graph look real familiar, what program did you use to generate it? Given your profession, I think I can guess... BTW, nice job on the graph Tarzan PO2001 -- I used Excel, pasted it in PowerPoint, and saved it as a .jpg file. Also, inasmuch as folks seemed to like Candy Red and Woodward more than what produced, just the opposite occurs for Black. Seems like a lot of Black owners didn't vote for their own color (CJ -- you haven't logged in enough as a guest and voted for Black!) Also the Yellow and the Black-tie more than what were produced too. Yellow also took the overall percentage win. YELLOW ROCKS!!!!!!!! ------------------ Driving a car is just transportation, I like what you did. I want to see what next week we will come up with. I disagree (as a previous owner of BT#5). There still a number of BT's out there (new at dealers) who are severly discounting them. Discounting more so then the yellow's. Also, try trading one it. You'll find it is worth no more (and possibly less) then any other color. ------------------ Driving a car is just transportation, ------------------ ------------------Tarzan Interesting to see how the poll results (favorite colors) matches up against how many of that color were produced (for sale). There's a pretty good correlation between colors produced and those that love that color (as I suspected). However, there seems to be an overwhelming love of the Woodward and Candy Red (aside from the obvious High Voltage Blue) -- beyond what was produced. So if you ask me what colors will gain value the quickest, it would probably be these two. Tarzan The enclosure didn't work... Take 2...
WildBill Tarzan, ProwlerOrange2001 Really interesting stuff... Mike Krehel I've already decided on next weeks poll, and yes it also has to do with color! Should be really interesting! BeWare Great graph really visually puts it in perspective. Tarzan WildBill -- Great idea. That way we can get a better idea of what really is the most desired color. Mike? Is that your idea? ed monahan What graph? I don't see anything, really. YellowFever quote:

Yellow was 5.5% over it's closest competitor.

Driving a Prowler is a State of Mind...cnote6 Tarzan, Great JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! ed monahan I got off the site and back on and it loaded right up. Pretty cool, I agree. The question is, what percentage of units produced are represented by registered owners on this site? Is yellow over represented compared to other colors. Wayne Finch Good analysis and I think you may be correct about future collectibles. The Black Tie could be a sleeper. While it never went over great, I don't think anyone finds it offensive and with the limited number, it too should hold value pretty good. Top three collectibles - Woodward, Candy, Black Tie (obviously not including HV Blue) YellowFever quote:

While there were alot less BT's produced then yellow, value will have to do with availability. If everyone with a BT is trying to sell it but, everyone with a yellow wants to hang onto it, the yellow could be worth more (ie. not as many for sale).
IMO, the reason bright colors like yellow are so popular is that this is a car to be noticed in and cries for a color that screams back at you. I suspect that if DC had built them in shocking green, numbers of high voltage blue, or other electric colors, they might have sold another 11,000.
