A month or two ago, there was quite a bit of discussion on a paint touch up repair kit. I have tried to find it with the search but no luck? If anyone knows the name of the product or know where the thread is, please advise.

www.langka.com (also seems to be the same product as Mother's offers through usual channels).

Search for my name and you'll find prior postings.

Mothers also makes a kit which is around $10.00, that I hear is getting rave reviews as well.

DISCLAIMER:
I'm not endorsing one product or the other, but the Langka site is good (you have to watch the video) compared to the Mothers site which is useless.

MZ....
Quite welcome.
Make sure you start clean (alcohol). Yellow takes two applications; black and red are more solid and have been known to be done with one. After you use it, if there's not enough shine, you'll need some clearcoat (either another application or mix 50/50 with color).
Good luck and please post how it works for you.

After recently purchasing and using the Langka product, when I purchase again, I am going with the Mother's brand. I had no problems with the Langka product and feel it did the job, but for half the price, my feeling is that the Mother's product would work just as well. I am as well not endorsing either product. Has anyone used the Mother's brand chip repair with positive results?

Bill, there is one MAJOR difference between the two products - YOU CAN GET LANGKA!

Where can you buy Mothers?

Thanks.

-GRROWL

P.S. - From all evidence, and someone may want to confirm, the two products are the same. The label on Mothers says, "Uses Langka Technology". Langka is also VERY accessible by Email for questions, anyone have experience with Mothers? Again, I'm not endorsing either product, I bought Langka before Mothers was available. If and when I run out, I'll try the Mothers next (if available) since it is significantly less costly.

I just wanted to point out that Mother's Paint Chip Repair is $19.99. Not $10.00. It has been $19.99 almost since it was first reported on this site in May.

Soooo, cost may not be an issue after all.

When I bought the Langka, I paid $29.95 for TWO bottles, less 25% discount (using my wife's PT DIY Club Member discount) plus $3.95 shipping. This works out to $13.21 each, shipping included.

As I said, this was a while ago and I haven't needed to look at their prices recently. Note that membership in the PT DIY Club is free if you want to use that discount: http://www.ptdoityourself.net/ptdiyclub.html

P.S. - Who sells the Mothers version?
