Sue & I just got back and have unpacked. I have to be at work at 5am so I can have some rest. How can someone have 2 weeks vacation and not get any rest? I went to Carlisle to get Dart parts and hang out with the other Prowler owners. I was able to get some of the stuff for the Dart, see some POA friends and met several non POA Prowler owners, I hope to see them post as NEW POA members. We (POA members) all answered questions for the new owners there. Seen some really cool mods on other cars. One guy from Florida that builds rods had a tan top on his Orange car. What a great job the guy did on it, he also had several other mods that were 1st class. Darcy & Nancy invited everyone over for dinner on Friday night, THANK YOU. GENE DID WE WIN? I left my tickets with Gene for the give a way car. If you see him cruising in a black `73 Roadrunner ask if it was my ticket...LOL.... I will try and post some pictures tomorrow. ------------------ |

Larry...you won...but not the car. I have your FIRST PLACE plaque for the show...send the ransom money..or else I'll have your plaque in the mail today! George Renick (orange) was second, and George (NJSilver) was third Congrats guys! This events seems to grow at little every year - I'm going to get an offical count, but I think there were 20 Cats in attendance this year. ------------------ |

It was raining when we got up, so we didn't even stop at the field on Sunday. We had rain heading west until we reached the Breezewood exit on the Turnpike. |

We had a great time! Thanks again to the Klines for having us over Friday night. It's always a good time meeting the POA folks and cruising with the Kats (even driving a rental bull). We did not get to the show on Sunday either; rain and an early flight home. Already made our reservations for next year at the Comfort Suites downtown Carlisle. Gordon & Annie Karns |

We had a blast! Darcy and Nancy thanks again! It was great to see everyone again and make new friends. Dave Mills, thanks for keeping my wits sharp even though I was operating on way too little sleep. It was really great to see you and Brenda again. Gordon and Annie we were so pleasantly surprised to see you both again. George and Wild Bill I'm already looking forward to next time. Hope you guys make it to Lancaster. Larry and Sue Mayes we're so glad we finally got to meet you. Bob and Carol, we will follow you anytime. MeanGene, once again you outdid yourself and I think I mean that in a good way. lol Joety, glad you made it, you're a trooper. Everyone else, I know I'm forgetting a few names right now, hope to get to know you all better next time. For those of you that didn't hang around for the drive in movie you missed a great time. First, right after you all pulled out we moved the six remaining Kats over by Mcdonalds. Right after we went in a tour bus full of Oriental tourists pulled in. Bless their hearts, they all had camera's! They snapped photos, shot video, and took turns posing beside the cars. We arrived at the drive in movie at 7pm and had two hours of uninterrupted attention until the movie started. It was great! We hope we can attend at least a thousand more of these events! ------------------ |

It was a fantastic weekend and Carol and I really enjoyed putting faces with names and meeting some really great people. It just makes us that much more impatient for the PROWLANCASTER EVENT coming up. |

I really can't wait until ProwLancaster either... It was really great seeing old friends & putting faces to the posts here on the site while becoming friends with them... "Fixumm you following so far???" Or do I need to type slower??? We met many owners whom think that the PPC is the only answer or did not realize that people actually drive their Kats & actually get together for events... Mike K. - don't be surprised if you have at least 10+ new members in the next week... I must have printed up at least 80 business cards before I went & I think I returned with only 6... Fixumm you still with me??? I will wait till you catch up ... The whole weekend was absolutely fantastic. The Drive-In was great, especially while watching the Reverend MeneGene convert the endless line of onlookers to pick the red Kat as their favorite. Can I get an Amen??? Talk about a mass baptism by fire... I thought Creflo Dollar & Billy Graham were bad. If it did not rain, I would not have met the 72 year old eccentric projectionist of 50 years on the job looking for a way out. Learned some pretty interesting tidbits from him as well... I guess I will have to pay Officer Sheetz a visit next year & see if I could get another souvenir... With those of you with neon... Only white is allowed in the driving area of the car... All other lighting is illegal... Next year I am going back with a trillion candle-watt power lighting kit installed inside the Kat just so I can stay within the laws of PA & have a reason to wear my sunglasses at night... The autos at the show were pretty amazing & we even got to see the Crossfire drive by while they loaded it onto the carrier... Sounded like it had a Prowler engine with a Moper/Borla exhaust opened up... Bob L. how do I get my hands on the Sidewinder??? So many great memories, I really can't wait to get the Photos back... I captured some pretty good shots... Don't worry Bill, I remember the one of Gene you wanted Fixumm can't help you here... You will just have to wait for the photos... Or damn it... GO NEXT TIME!!!! Too bad Bill & Lucy were too damn efficient so that we couldn't trick them into thinking that they won second... It was truly a pleasure spending the weekend with everyone. It was great to see the 20 Kats & was a nice surprise to see a couple from Canada... Should be even better next year!!! Larry - it was finally nice to see WildCat in person & see you again, Bill & Lucy, Bob & Carol - had a great time getting to know you guys looking forward to future events. Gordon - it was great to see you again & show you what I have been doing to my Kat. Sorry I missed Annie, I hope she is feeling better. Please tell her that I send my best. MeneGene - What can I say??? Can't wait for your next antics... We will have to start a collection for your cause... Fixumm We can get you the CliffNotes of these posts if you like... See you all at ProwLancaster!!! WildBill |

WildBill it was great to see you and your Kat. Please post a photo of your showstopper presentation. The Georgia contingent has to see that setup. WOW. Annie is doing better and she is asking for a blanket with the prowler buckles; I will see what we can do since I don't like to put the top up either. Is your souviner autographed too? Looking good Sir! |
