calling all kats. will be comming down rt 65 to indinapolis on may 17th. if any one wants to meet their between 2:00pm and 3:30 pm let me know and i will find a place to eat out their. if you want email your cell numbers that way if your late we can wait of if their is trouble we can get ya. or if any one wants to meet before that let me know. the time is close so let me know. fixumm ------------------ |

Fixumm - 3:30 Indy time is 4:30 here in Louisville. We plan to leave at the hotel for cruise/reception/dinner at 6:30 and it's at leat a 2 hr drive from Downtown Indy to hotel in Louisville. Don't want to rush anybody but if you plan on going on cruise and to reception at horse farm you may want to leave Indy in time to arrive and get checked into Hotel. Of course I can get maps to you showing how to get to restaurant directly from hotel for dinner at 8 PM- it is only about a mile away. Marty ------------------  Driving my Dream |

Marty sorry i forgot how a$$ backwards you people are down their. do you sell premium fuel down their or is it still corn husk that u have to grind up first then feed it to a cow and wait till it comes out. ------------------ |

Okay, okay........I'll give you some help! lol! We most likely will be taking I-94 to I-69 into Indy.....unless Bob has a better idea! My map program says that it is approximately 332 miles to Indy which should take approximately 5 1/2 hours, barring road construction and any other complications. |

Due to cell phones the last pay phone downtown has been removed. Just find a kid hanging out on any corner and bum his cell phone. LOL Really, if you are going to the dinner Marty has planned you should go on. If you want to spend alittle time in Indy. let me know. I will find a good spot to meet. It would be a little to early for our Friday night cruise in, but that is where I will be Friday evening. I should be off work by 2:30. Let me know what your plans are. Downtown on a Friday afternoon is asking for delays due to traffic. Since everyone coming thru will funnel around Indy and collect on the Southside to pick up I65. The best meeting point would be on the Southside. I 65 & Southport or 2nd Greenwood exit I believe there is construction on I65 just north of Louisville that might add some time..Marty can you give details? ------------------

Constuction is last several miles as you approach Louisville but two lanes open the enitire way. You will going against rush hour until you reach Kentucky and merge onto I 64 East. Hurstbourne Lane exit is about 12 miles. May be slow, but barring accident should be moving at decent pace - not stop and go. Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Can I join in here? I would like to join y'all in traveling down to Louisville. I would suggest meeting at Cracker Barrel restaurant at exit 103 (southport road)on I-65 just south of INDY. Would suggest departure time of 2:00 Indy time (3:00 EDT) to make it to hotel and have time to unload car before dinner cruise.(6:30 EDT) ------------------ |

OK we need to meet in Indy at 2:00pm central time (3:00 Marty time). I will list a place to meet some time today ( I am trying to find a striper club) lol. but what I want to know is how all of you are going their. maybe some of us can meet up before that DO YOU UNDER STAND. that is what I am getting at. if any one is going down 65 we can meet before Indy. I see a lot of cats from Indiana are going. Had to use the brain this morning,now i am done for the day. WE WILL MEET AT CRACKER BARREL since you can always see their signs.(good idea ray) the address is 4350 E Southport RD indianapolis PH# (317) 784-7691. it will be about an 2 1/2 hr drive from their to the hotel. so if we leave cracker barrel no later 2:30pm central time. we should have enought time for check in. fixumm ------------------ |

Hey, FIXUMM read the info, I've contacted 5 other "Cats" this morning to see if they are going. No response as of yet. But Cracker Barrel sounds like a good spot. Cracker Barrel is off I65 about 3 miles past the south side of I465. For all those coming from the northeast or East follow 465 south to I 65 south. Southport road is the 1st exit south of 465 on I65 as far as strip club. Not sure where they are on the south side but you can get off I65 South on crawfordsville road and take it to Speedway and you will find a few around the Indianapolis Speedway Race track. This will be last weekend of Qualifing...maybe some of the better dances will be there. ------------------
