Calling ALL East Coast North East people. PA, NJ, NYC, VA, MD, DC anywhere How about we start planing some simple meet and great gatherings for the spring and summer. Maybe once a month. On a Sunday or Sat. Nothing too big but a chance for us all to get together have a bite to eat enjoy the great weather and connect as fellow owners. I'm excited for this will be my first summer with a KAT! I Know there is alot of you out there! Share your ideas! Heres some of my thoughts! Baltimore Harbor area- Seafood NJ shore- Cape may, Atlantic city, Whatever. Let me know your thought or if your having something in your area. I'm always open for a spin!!! I'll post something in the events section. Don't be afraid to just set up something in your area where we could just meet up have a bite to eat and show the world our wonderful cars!! I see thing going on in Cali the south and all over all the time!! How about us East coast folks!! It will be fun!! Any ideas? Anybody doing anything I don't know about! TreyB, I know the feeling...we have winter here! Yes, we have fun on the East Coast gatherings, just not all year-round like those other "posers". We have typically gone to Carlisle, PA - Ocean City, MD - Skyline Drive, Va. for cruises/gatherings. We really don't need much motivation to cruise, the sooner the better. You are welcome to come along or create some new stuff for us. Check out the events calender - July @ Carlisle - is the Chrysler Nationals, we had 12 or 15 Cats there (I'm sure DaveM will correct this number!)from all over the East Coast. Keep us posted! p.s. Trey, The first Saturday of each month starting in April at a place called the Soda Jerk you will usually find a minimum of 200 cars. There are usually 2-5 Kats which attend. I will get the details and post for the first event. Great time! thanks Bob   ------------------ |

Trey, As I mentioned to you last fall, there is a cruise night(actually there is one or more in every weekend in our area) on the 4th Saturday of every month at the Chesterbrook shopping center in Devon.(It's around 20 minutes or so from where you live) It's a nice cruise night, in a pretty location, with at least 300-350 cars. At least four restaurants for dinner. Many late model clubs meet there,i.e Impala club, Deleware Valley Corvette club, and many more along with street rods, cruisers and cars of all types. Jim |

Dave, I'm not sure which direction you will be coming from but take 322 East like you are going towards Hershey Park. Exit on Hershey park drive just like you are going to the park. Stay in the left lane and turn left at the first light. That will take you into Hummelstown. About a half mile after turning left you will start to go up a hill and at the top the road will bear right. The Soda Jerk is straight ahead. Turn left into the parking lot where the road turns right. You can't miss it. We usually get there between 2 and 3pm. Should I check to see if they have seniors discount? Sorry, couldn't resist. Well it seems like everytime that something cool is going on I always have to work! Besides my cool Mgt Job at Johnson & Johnson solving everyones headaches with Tylenol I also im a professional DJ on the side! So thats what got me the Kat! http://silversound.com/Djwebs/thb/ Its cool but I end up getting booked a year in advance for weddings and all! Its not like the whole weekend but it grabs my Sat's alot! Because of this I can't get out to Woodward and im double booked on the KY trip dates! I also do trips with my Motorcycle group! So on 4/6 for the Soda Jerk I got a Bar mitzfah in the afternoon but i will try to meet you guys on May 5th it looks free! Jim I will be in Japan this 4th Sat! HERE'S A FEW SUGGESTIONS MAY 17 18 &19 RED BANK NJ HAS A CRUSIN WITH THE OLDIES WEEKEND THE WHOLE TOWN IS NOTHING BUT CLASSIC CARS I'M SURE A PROWLER CONTINGENT WOULD BE SPECTACULAR. OR MAYBE JUST AN OCEAN FRONT CRUISE FROM SPRING LAKE TO LONG BRANCH UP OCEAN AVENUE ------------------ |
