I was just looking at ebay and a new 2002 Silver was just listed. 11 miles says 66 th built of 02 model year. I know silver is in the 02 lineup but I did not knw they had made any yet. Is this an 02 or is it an 01 chrysler and his info is wrong? I thought only inca gold and yellow were out so far for 02. Also is there any word on the candt red as of yet. I heard production is slowing to 7 cars a day after Jan. 1 and lots of vacation days in the mean time. My dealer said after Jan 1 for the new red but I wonder now if we will even see it. ------------------ |

Bob. The 1st 98 2002 Prowlers were Silver. Than Inca Gold. Yellow started about two weeks ago... At CAAP tour during Woodward, we were told Brite Candy Apple Red was planned for Jan. The stats are under the link Facts & Stats... ------------------ |

The 10th digit of the vin number being a 2 indicates that it is a 2002, but the sequence number 100066 doesn't mean that it's the 66th Prowler built since the Vipers are built in the same plant and share sequence numbers with the Prowler. I've heard that the Candy Red will be out after the first of the year too and am looking forward to seeing it myself! ------------------ |

Thanks for the clarification, I did not know the 2002 numbers were up on the stats page yet. Do we know when the 2002 oranges will be built? Also will all the new Plymouth Prowlers (01's )that DC bought back go to auction or what will become of them? My dealer sent back 2 silver and 1 orange. ------------------ |
