Lil' Louie has taken her apart and is dry fitting the new parts to before painting them. THANKS NORB FOR GOING OUT AND CHECKING ON HER!!! I was hoping to go out Friday and take some pictures of her apart but I won't be able to make it - oh well. Can't wait for her to be finished ------------------ |

JD - I am having everything chromed and having little white endorsement stickers placed all over it to make it faster - just like all those rice rockets I see everywhere - NOT  Okay - here is the low-down. I have the new TGF side engine panels and the bumper covers and I am having the car flamed with color shifting paint. This is being done by the same guy who did the flames for Jim, Larry, George, etc (Lil' Louie). A portion of the pinstripe will be removed and it will terminate on each side with a decorative arrow. I am having the Batman logo painted on - so it will look 3D and much better than the vinyl sticker that started peeling. I am going to move my side marker lights (possibly change the type of lights, haven't decided yet) to an area behind the panel so it will reflect through the hole and pick up the paint. The light itself will not be directly behind the hole and will not be visible from the hole, just the reflection. I am going to wire some running lights and put them behind the grill (pointing them up so they will not shine directly through the grill) so they will reflect off the paint and light the grill up. Hmmm - what else.... I think that is it ------------------ |

Cliff - Sounds awesome!!! I assume you will be posting pics soon?? When my car was gone for 36 hours a couple of weeks ago, I kinda had the same feeling - and I was only having flames painted on the sides and trunk. I'll look forward to seeing the finished product. Marty - I have mailed off a couple of those disposable cameras to the shop so they could take pictures of it in the process. I will definetly be posting pictures - have to change my banner and my avitar too  GEORGE! You saw her??? I spoke with them today and they were taking my doors apart. I don't know if I could take seeing that! ------------------ |
