ANOTHER QUESTION? HAS ANYONE MADE AN ATTEMPT TO LOUVER ANY OF THE PANELS, HOOD ECT. I GOT SOME VERY GOOD INPUT WHEN I ASKED ABOUT CHROMING MY FRONT END PARTS. AND I HOPE I DO THE SAME WITH THE LOUVER QUESTION. I`VE HAD PLENTY OF THE STEEL HOODS ECT. DONE. BUT I WAS WONDERING HOW THE ALUM. TAKES IT . ANYONE PLEASE. THANKS GARY |

The DC test car being driven at Woodward had a lovered hood. About 4 on each side up near the windshield I don't know how careful they were when they did it but the metal area around the louvers showed definite signs of stress. also a guy here in Georgia had a street rod with a louvered hood. While parked at an hotel overnight and it rained hard. Water got down his Carbs. He didn't know it and when he started it the engine blew. Some thing to think about. ------------------ |
