Jay has done it again with the new "Shimmers" Engine Dress Up Kit! What a difference that little bit of red makes on that engine! Also, if you haven't taken off the lining underneath your hood and painted in that Prowler kat, you're missing out on a great "touch of class" underneath that hood. The combination of the painted kat and Jays shimmers looks great! Way to go Jay! Also, the "BadKat" goes in the paint shop on Monday 09/24 and again on 11/06 for some "special" BadKat airbrushed graphic work. The new "BadKat" is going to knock your socks off! ------------------

THANKS "BadKat" Chuck... I am pleased that you really like them and that it makes such a difference. Just a reminder that these are reflective RED so just add a little light (when your hood is open) on Cruise Nite and that BadKat V6 will really SHIMMERS. As for the CHROME... I shipped several sets yesterday and today so I expect some pictures early next week from some of the Cat owners. THANKS TO EVERYONE for your continued support of SHIMMERS! Sincerely, Jay ------------------ |

Jay's da man! It's not a bad cat, but it's shimmering! There are no signs of fading, cracking, peeling or discoloration - Jay you did it right! Thanks, again! ------------------ This message has been edited by MeanGene on 10-09-2001 at 03:07 PM |

Chuck, what did you have done to the stone guards on the rear fenders in order to get them chromed? ------------------ |

Here's another shot of Jay's engine shimmer. I also added one of Ed's side marker Kats to the front radiator cover... Tried putting it on marker & messed up one. So, decided it might look good on that bracket... I've had the engine shimmer on about two weeks and it really dresses up the engine...

I didn't have to do anything to them. I just shipped them to Custom Coatings and they did both fender protectors and both rear splash guards. Cost was $400 for all four pieces. ------------------

Chuck you did have to bolt the stone guards on the fenders after they were chromed didn't you. I don't mean the fender flaps. ------------------ |
