A while back someone posted about JP and being in the service. Well our other Prowler Serviceman that was shipped out earlier in the year seen this post and the fact I questioned where he was and how he was doing. He emailed me today and is doing fine in Korea at this time. He has been very busy and has not been able to get online. I'm sure with the strikes today will make his time even more limited. Let's all keep the men and women in the Armed Forces in our thoughts and prayers. Andrew, Hope you get to return as planned in April of 2002 ------------------ |

WildCat, Where's that post? I would like to read it. For anyone interested, I am still at my base here in Oklahoma City. I will more than likely not be going anywhere. Supporting the mission from stateside. Be aware, we in the military DO appreciate your support and kind words. We NEVER tire of hearing them. Your support makes us proud to be doing what we do. ------------------ |

Andrew sent e mail to me, it was not posted on the board. I ask if it was OK to post. So far no answer. You can Email Andrew at the same email address lukyduck@aol.com If I do not hear from him soon I all assume it is Ok to post. Nothing in it that I think would be confidental. Marc, yes he said his car was in storage. Good thing he didn't leave it at your house. It might need a few parts as you repair yours, hehehe Just JP, Staying state side and supporting the others is just as important. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK This message has been edited by WildCat on 10-08-2001 at 03:45 PM |

I don't mind you posting my email. Go ahead. You are right about there not being a safe place in the world, today. But, I think that most places are relatively safe. Criminals, terrorists, or what ever you want to call them, can always get to you if they want to and you let them. No one in the US should ever live in fear. If you do, you should move somewhere else where you do feel safe. Luckily, the fuel gauge in the helicopter is more accurate than the one in the Prowler. But then it does cost a lot more also. Andrew Howard here is the answer, now to retrieve the original message....hopefully it will work
I hope all of you guys back in the states are OK. I am writing because I was browsing through the old POA discussion board posts and came across the topic about "JP being in the military." I read through it and saw your post about me. I just wanted to say THANKS for not forgetting about me and making the post. I left back in April 2001 for Korea. I am doing good. Since I left, I haven't had much time to keep up with the discussion board. My Kat is in storage and I hope is doing well. Obviously, things have changed a lot since 11 Sep. The people in the states have no idea what the military is doing and I personally like it that way for now. I have always been a believer of keeping military operations a little secret, for the sake of the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who's lives are on the line. A lot more is going on today with the military than people know. Many people have been deployed to various parts of the world without the press finding out. I am not one who wishes to go to war, but this is a war we need to fight. I can only hope that when it starts, the American people will stand behind their sons and daughters that are on the front lines. Innocent people will die and none of us in the military wants to hurt them. That is just a fact of combat. Depending how things go, I hope the American people are prepared to go the distance. Many of us have been conducting operations in connection with this new war and it is only the beginning. The only thing I ask of all of you back in the states, is to not forget about all of us who have volunteered to serve our country. This of course applies to all of those Police officers and Firemen back in the US that also volunteer to serve and protect. OK, now that I am off of my soap box, THANKS again. I do not know when I will be getting back to the US, but hopefully, it will be next April 2002. I will keep in touch when I have time and access to my email. Take Care, Andrew Howard ------------------ This message has been edited by WildCat on 10-09-2001 at 12:06 PM |
