I am looking for some sources for quality vinyl flames. If anyone has any for their car, would you mind sharing information with me? Company names, phone numbers, email address, cost, quality, selection options. Thanks! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

CJ- got this link from Alley Cat. Very good quality graphics. This place will talk to you and custom design vinyl flames also. They do outlines, shawdows, etc. If I wasn't so set on getting custom hand painted flames, this is where I would go - still might! www.speedgraphics.net go to sidekits link on left side of page and also read about special effects -outline, shadows, etc. Happy Prowling Marty ------------------ This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 09-14-2001 at 04:07 PM |

CJ, www.Speedgraphics.net is the same place Jason got his flames. They are color shifting and looked really good. He posted pics of them some weeks ago. I am thinking of doing a similar flame job this winter through the above site. Ok now the big question..... Are you going to be doing this to your Black Kat??? Alex ------------------ |

CJ I ordered a set of color shifting flames like JD's last week and should have them next week. I'll let you know how they look when the arrive. I think they were about 350.00. ------------------ |

Appreciate that Marc. Am interested in ease of installation (are you doing it yourself?). Also wondered if anyone has installed them and then taken them off. Does it damage the paint in any way? |

CJ as I look into my crystal ball I see Flames in your Cats future. When I investigated the flames like JD has, they said they could be removed without damaging the paint. If I recall correctly they also had a predicted limited life span like for 6 or 10 years. I may be wrong. I'm sure JD knows. ------------------ |

CJ, I have never checked into vinyl flames, but the vinyl does come in different ratings. The first number in the code tells you how long the expected life span should be. i.e. 3= 3 years, 5= 5 years. Eight is the highest they make, I believe. |
