I have one of the original ERTL diecast prowlers from 1995. It has a copyright from "Chrystler" on it. They had these on the shelves for about 2 weeks and then they all got pulled because of that.

Didn't even know about the mistake until I read about it somewhere.

Another kewl item I have is a mint green prowler from Johnny Lightning. Got these because I was member of the collectors club. I purchased these about 3 years ago - looooooong before I could get the real thing.

The rarest I have is a leather jacket with the prowler logo on it all over the place, hand sewn, and given to a select crowd of people when they introduced the 1997 Prowler as a production vehicle............ It's said to be worth about $850.

Looks *similar* to the leather ones that are sold now, but much stronger in quality and much classier.

Coolest item, easy for me. My 2000 Father's Day gift -
20 X 18 hand sketched, colored drawing of a silver Prowler in front of old gas station and very old style gas pump. Four months later, the Grand Canyon Tour 2000 group picture, in front of that old Mobil gas station, made me realize the true beauty I have in the drawing. Is now framed in silver and hangs in my living room.

2nd item - my Anson 1/18th scale, silver Prowler, in a display case sitting atop of my big screen - haven't seen too many 1/18th scale silver cats out there.

3rd item - my avatar picture, blown up and framed, above my Anson diecast. That picture was shot at Canyon Lake Arizona, one of my favorite boating places. Mountain in background reminds me of the Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. picture of their "ROCK".

Hi
I saw this model of my Prowler Black Tie somewhere and had to have it. I called all over one day everywhere and no one heard of this model. I finally for the heck of it went to this little hobby shop a few miles from my house. I explained to the owner that I had saw a diecast of my Black Tie Prowler and the detail was incredible. He called and found me (2). I gave one to the salesman that sold me the car at the dealership and I kept one. I collect models and this is far the most detailed I have every seen for a die cast. It is even hand pin stripped like mine.
here it is:

A pewter key chain in the shape of the Prowler. I has the jump seat style of trunk, so it had to have been made long before the production cars. On the hood is the company symbol for ZIMA beer. I was told that ZIMA was going to use a Prowler for some sales gimmick, but never went through with it - because the car was going to cost to much. Don't know if the story is fact or not, but the item does have the logo.

I also have two Christmas ornaments. One is a pewter ring w/ a Prowler hanging in the center and the Plymouth logo at the top. The other is plastic, purple and is 4-5 inches in length w/ Santa driving & a little elf in the passenger seat. Plus a photo that I had scanned in & blown up to poster size - this hangs over the mantel in my living room. And yes, I'm a bachelor.

Forgot to add - I'm making a display stand for my original grill. I'm trying turn it into a light. Still experimenting on the angle of the louvers. If anyone is interested in what I come up with, send me an e-mail. I'll try to get some pictures of it when finished.

I just this evening purchased the 1997 Prolwer Aluminum Press Kit from EBAY. One of 500 given, out hand numbered. I have every other brochure and press release that I am aware of. I am still looking for the Prowler in the Piston box. However with what I paid for the press kit tonight I won't be looking too hard for awhile if you know what I mean.

I was so excited about my find tonight I almost forgot. Last year at Woodward Carol had placards made up and signed by all the people at Team Prowler and also the Paint Plant. It has a place for an 8X10 photo of my Prowler to be mounted in the middle. I have been waiting to come up with the right picture. This year at Woodward I will have someone take Mine and Linda's picture in front of Conner Ave Plant with our Cat.
This along with the Press Kit and the Long Distance Award
I received at the Chrysler Museum Show also last year will be my most prized possesions other than my Prolwer of course. Doesn't look like there will be a second show this year.

Way to go Rich. I got an aluminum press kit on Ebay last week also. Guess they saw us both coming, but I've really been looking for one for quite a while.

I have all of the Major League Baseball Prowlers from 1997 EXCEPT the NY Mets. Somebody find it for me PLEEEEEASE. I also have about 50 Wildcat Johnny Lightning cars, I found another today, by the way. They are getting harder to find. I think someone is hoarding them around here. Still no White Lightning of Larry's car.
I still need the 69 Camaro Johnny Lightning Pace car. It is white with Orange interior and stripes on hood. So while you are looking for Wildcat's car, look for the pace car for me.

Hmmmm, well, I don't know if these are considered rare or cool, but I think they are unique.......

Original Press Kit # 39/500

Hand painted/flamed 1:18 scale done by a gentleman from Owosso, MI. He specially painted just 10 of these for the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. No two are exactly alike.

Sterling Silver Pen and matching key chain set

Racing Champions Plymouth Prowler 18-Wheel Tractor/Trailer #5

What we call the "Pond" Prowler!

Plymouth Prowler Bottle Opener/Key Ring - Has Prowler logo and says: 1st Program Car Dec. 95

A Colorado Rockies Prowler and a Promo model Prowler that is 1 1/4" long and has wheels that roll.

I have a lot of other items; magazines, articles, sunglasses, numerous diecast models in all sizes, shirts, banner, etc. etc. It's fun to collect Prowler stuff!!

I also have the Prowler Christmas ornaments and a complete set of Swarovski Crystal Christmas ornaments - one for each year the Prowler has been built!

Thanks, Sasy......

There is a lot of other stuff. All the brochures, press kits, magazines, pins, calendars, posters, etc.

Here's a couple more items I found that I forgot I even had!

This is a model kit by Testors. It is metal, however and has it's own screwdriver for assembly!

This is a picture of a license plate that was mounted on some kind of board. It was signed by Bob Lutz and Bob Eaton and sent to my husband who handled Prowler allocation.

This plastic plate was on my car when it was delivered to me!
