He told me last summer right before Woodward that this was in the works, I am glad it all worked out. I would think the price of the full size Prowler went up. ------------------ |

[QUOTE]Originally posted by butchcee: [B]Is that for real Larry? YES, It is FOR REAL I went to show last year and got to talking to a guy that worked for Johnny Lightning. I told him they should make a diecast of my car. He looked at it and liked it They should be at department stores and toy stores soon I am going to try and make photo smaller so I can show the whole package. the photo is from my driveway, Help Gary. since we have some to doubt this. Isn't there a photo of your car in my drive showing the same background? Had a guy at work say the die cast was nice , BUT, if I had the real car would really impress him. So I took out my wallet and showed him more pictures of it. ------------------ This message has been edited by WildCat on 02-15-2001 at 02:13 PM |

Yes Gary C., I got the frame for the trailer. No the car is not in the Mail. Can I keep One please Have to see what I can work out. For now check out your local toy department Gary H., Made the ISCA show in Chicago. How in the world did you ever get us to the front door last year. We must have walked a mile to get from parking lot to where the show was and then needed GPS to find our way back to the van. ------------------ |

Larry, I checked Wal-Mart and Target without any luck. See, I have already started a run on your autographs. I will buy all that I find locally and we can corner the market. If you don't own a Prowler you can't have a Johnny Lightning version. I don't understand how the guy in West Chester has one and we can't find them locally. |

Ed, looks like he has several listed. He must be a toy dealer. My wife use to work for K mart, she figures they might never make it to the sales floor. Walmart claims they do not let people go thru them ahead of time but Who knows what happens in the back rooms of those stores. I would like to know where he come up with White Lightning he has it listed under. I will check with my Johnny Lightning contact to see if they sent something out in the box I didn't get. No where on the package does it have any number or mane for the car. I can see my name in the lower left corner of the picture of my car on the card. THIS IS MY WildCat not a white lightning. this kinda pisses me off... I better go Ed if you find one we'll have to meet somewhere, once I get my clutch fixed, I think my gold wing needs exercise. ------------------ |

I smell a rat! Hey, I collect die cast too, but $66.77 for a Johnny Lightning Prowler? Get real! Look at the bidding history. In less than 5 minutes one bidder bid 5 times against himself. Bidding from $25.00 up to $50.00, not so kosher to me... Maybe someone really did pay top dollar..... but don't buy a few thinking your going to make a killing. Yes, I will buy one at the store if I see one (very cool) but auction buyers beware... there are wolves amongst the cats... ------------------ PROWLEN.... John, I thought the same thing. I just thought it was cool to see my car on there. Since there was another on there without a bid it smelled fishy to me I went to the store today but no luck in finding one. Toys R Us looks like the best place in Indy for Johnny Lightning cars. I got one today from Playing Mantis that is a mistake. White wheels and interior. I think I'll keep this one for myself. ------------------ |
