I got to work at 6 am this morning, and at 8 am told by a guy that collects Hot Wheels that the Meijer, 3 miles from my house, had 2 yesterday. Now I had to work all day, my wife and daughter had left for work/school, so what is a guy to do. Had a friend go get the one remaining.  Looks like Meijer got new shipment of Johnny Lightning last week. ------------------ |

Larry, Found it tonight at Meijer in Florence, KY. They only had one. WalMart is directly across the street. They didn't have much of anything, Target was closed, saw a Bigg's Hyper Market across the street and they had four. I bought them all, of course. I need 24,995 more to corner the market. $3 at both Meijer and Biggs. They are really sharp. If anyone is looking for them I would suggest hitting the stores soon. Looking for autographs, now. Congratulations Wildcat. |

Ed, you have done better than me. I found only one in the week of searching. IF YOU FIND ONE WITH WHITE INTERIOR AND WHEELS, this is not a mistake. Playing Mantis does this to make some more rare than others. Less than 10% have white interior and wheels.......GUESS WHO HAS ONE.........ME I thought it was a mistake but got lesson in "die cast 101" from Maria at Playing Mantis. She also told me a total of 15,000 cars made. So findinf 4 in one place was very unusual ------------------ |

Larry, that means I only have to find 14,995 not 24,995. Mine all have black interior. I will do some more searching. Oddly enough, Biggs had two different sections of Johnny Lightning and I almost missed them as they were about 10 feet to the right of the others. They must have had 300 Johnny Lightning cars, total. Walmart had about 10 so maybe they are due for a shipment. I will buy more IF I can find them. I figure you will want a few spares. |

I bought one on ebay for $4.75 plus shipping a total of $7.00 I think it was a good buy. Take a look at the auction, the person I bought the car from is a toy store they might have more. The item # is 560830464 ask if you can buy all they have, I did buy this one Feb 17th. If it is ok can I will send this one to you to be signed? If so email me with your address and I will send the car with returned postage.

Today I found 3 at Meijer's and two more at Bigg's and my buddy found one and one last night. I have 12 now. I didn't find an albino, though. I will share. (Unless I can sell them for $50 on ebay, then it is every man for himself.) haha. I am done looking unless I just happen to be somewhere that has them. |

I went to Ames,Walmart and K-Mart and they only carry Hot Wheels. My next stop was Toys-R-Us and they had a poor selection of Johnnie Lightning. They did have a Car and Driver Prowler in 1:43rd scale. Its purple with red and yellow flames for $2.99. My next stop is KB Toys and Targets. I'll let you know how I made out. BlackAMX |

Hit two Toys R Us this evening and found five more. I have 28 now but no albino. I will bring them to Crazy Horse and Woodward for anyone who hasn't found them. It is crazy to pay $4 or $5 to ship them. I will hit the rest of the Toys R Us around here and get as many as I can. Black AMX I will save you one if you don't find any.
