Just received new front chrome wheels to replace the originals on 2000 Kat. The replacements look terrific, can't wait for spring to get the Kat out and the new wheels on. The dealer has been a terrific help with any problems I have encountered.

Glad you are happy, many people have problems and got new ones and the new ones were just as bad or worse than the old ones.

Merry Xmas

Hey now, a dealer here in this area has a new set for my car but one of the rear wheels had a bad spot and they are exchanging it. The other three wheels are just ok. While there isn't much trash under the chrome in the barrel, they do have what looks like grinding marks. I really don't want to accept these wheels as the ones on the car now have no grinding marks but are having chrome chipping........I think this will be my only chance to get new rims........what to do????

Hey now man - tell them they are unacceptable! Exchange for better wheels, not worse. End of story.

I also have the '99 silver wheels but had to have the fronts replaced due to poor clear coat coverage, they were imposible to keep clean. The dealer was great about replacing them, only I had to take them to a Goodyear store to have them mounted as the dealer couldn't deal with the 17 and 20 inch wheels. Much happier with the finish on the replacements although they are still not perfect if inspected close enough.

Having painted wheels on my yellow `99 I sent mine out to be chromed and LOVE THEM

as I have stated before, the factory wheels are finished on the face. The rear is chromed but it was not polished before chroming. It was not intended to be show chrome on the rear of the wheel. The BIG problem is the wheel is EXPOSED and you see the defects in the rear of the rim. If this was on a normal car without exposed front wheels you would not notice the rear as much.

I paid EXTRA to have the rear of my wheel polished and show chrome to the rear as well as the face of the wheel.

also there is a place on the rear of each wheel where the ground clamp is placed and it has less chrome finish and looks gold. This is normal and unavoidable.

Wheel Concept in CA. is the place that chromed my wheels.
