I have an update for those who were interested! Can you give me some more of your thouthts on this type of luggage carrier ?? I’m considering taking orders at this time. To date I have 2 Transporter units ready (first come first served). In response to the question about the bag lawn chairs, the Transporter will carry chairs up to 28” in length. Transporter Features: Chrome marine hinges Double locked tilt base Gas shocks on lid Chrome lid lock (w/2keys) Comes W/ weather striping I am very pleased with the finished product, and I’m sure you will be too. Jim, Very nice cargo carrier! Price seems fair and construction quality looks excellent! Everything appears to be very robust. Estimate on cargo capacity? Estimate on M/T weight? I like the 'double tilt lock' idea. Have you tested it at full GCVW at high way speeds for any length of time? Looks like Pantera might have some competition with his Get-A-Way II (which is also a fine product). If you build it they will sell. Not a lot of people (including myself) are very good with towing trailers. (jack-knife syndrome) |

Jim, This unit looks great in the pictures. I think you will get more orders than you expected once the word gets out. I know you have put an incredible amount of work into development. I can't wait to see it in person. |

Jim I noticed you are from FL, do you plan to attend either the DQ Event next weekend or the Turkey Run and if so will you have this with you? Would love to take a look in person. Looks like a great option to the weekender. Thanks. |
