This is the roll bar that we just completed. What do you think? The material is 2" stainless tube, which will be polished when finished. The pattern for the lexan is at the vendor. The roll bar will be offered with or without the lexan. We don't have a price yet with the lexan. The roll bar as shown, with a 3/16" base & ajustable pins for tention, will be $325.00 + actual S&H. If we get 20 orders, I'll sell the roll bar for $300.00 + actual S&H......Mac

My partner (6FT.) sat in the car & could see thru the rear view mirror. He could just see the bottom edge of the roll bar. Any lower we're afraid the bar would be in the way, obstructing the rear view.

I think the Roll Bar looks COOL. And, the price seems reasonable too. Will the Roll Bar store in the not so roomy trunk with the top up? Just thinking it will have to be removed in case of rain, etc. Thanks for coming up with new parts for us Prowler owners.

Can you give us a measurement from the top of the deck lid to the bottom of the roll bar Height in inches
That would give me something to visualize

Looks good. Good price. But...,I do like the profile of the Green Prowler's roll bar just a bit better. A little lower and less in your face. Just my opinion. Great job!

for what it is worth, I think the bar is a little too high. Perhaps even with the passenger head rest bar would be moor estheticly pleasing.Keep up the good work

Thanks for the comments. The bottom of the bar to the deck lid is 6". The reason we made it 6" from the deck lid is because you won't see it when you are looking in the rear view mirror (just the bottom edge) We can make it lower if that's what you want. Does an 1" or 2" lower sound good to you. Also for those of you that want the lexan we want enough material to engrave the Prowler logo or whatever you want on it. I guess 4" would be O.K. if you want it that height. Please let me know how many would like it lower. We'll make it any height you want.......Thanks, Mac

Talked to my partner today about some of your comments concerning a lower roll bar. After Christmas we will bend a roll bar that will measure 4" from bottom of the bar to the deck lid. Will offer both heights. Will post pictures after Christmas. Have a safe & happy holiday.....Mac

Galaxie,
Thanks for taking our comments in a positive way. I am in for one with the lower height. Please post a picture of the newer height bar once you get the new one finished. It's great to have people like you involved in the sport.
Merry Christmas to all..
