Need some help. Last night I ran over something and scratched the side of the car just in front of the rear tire. I remember seeing on the website about a product you can ues with touch up paint to smooth it out. Can someone help? Thanks Ron |

We've heard the "con". Here's some "pro" from searching for the term "Langka".

I have had better success on dark colors (PT purple, for instance) where only one application is necessary. From researching this on several boards, the success factors seem to be: - Cure time. Runs from half-hour to 3 days depending upon the touch-up paint used. - Cleanliness. Repair area needs to be clean, such as alcohol spot-cleaning to remove waxes, etc. - Clearcoat. Some paints are fine, some need clearcoat over them, some will work with clearcoat mixed with the paint. - Practice. Develop a technique that works, and this may vary from car to car. My point is, Langka or Mothers is worth trying. It seems to be a love-or-hate relationship, just look at the above. -GRROWL |
