Has anyone checked these out as a possible replacement for the orange side marker lights. I got a set of the motorcycle ones suggested earlier and getting ready to install them. If not satisified may try these. |

Those look like ones Bob Goetz ordered. They were close but the curve was concave instead of convex (or the other way around) and the lens sat out too far from the side panel. I'll get a hold of Bob and let him answer if these were the same ones. Marty |

Nope - different lenses from the ones Bob bought. Looks like the one on the link above are for Interior use. I'd suggest you check out if they would stand up to the exposure of being on the exterior. |

I ordered a pair to check them out. I am putting on new side panels this week (Thanks Bob!) and figure this would be a good time to experiment with these side markers. Will let you know how it goes. Guy |

I've been 'hunting' for clear side marker lights for quite some time now and COULD NOT find a set that came even close to the Prowler side marker dimension of almost 6" in length and 2" height ! Yes, please post a picture when you have them installed, that'd be great ! |

Well, put these on last week. Took some filler to smooth out the original indentation, but I like the new look. |

Dale (blubyu) had a set of prototype clear markers on his car in Texas. He said they have changed the adhesive so it doesn't yellow around the edges. Maybe he'll see this and post pics. |

Chris, Definitely done for awhile. It is a labor of love, but I learned real quick it can stretch the pocketbook. Got one more mod already delivered that I have yet to install, but need to cool it! BTW, when you have your little one, you will be posting this late at night too. Guy |

Dusti, These came from Yearwood. Look at the second post in this thread for ordering information. Took two days to arrive. The kit comes with its own bulb and wiring harness. We removed the OEM bulb and socket and the replacement bulb and wiring spliced in perfectly. A five minute job to swap out the wires and bulbs. These looked okay sitting in the original indentation, but as long as I was getting the new panels painted, I went ahead and had the panel smoothed out to erase the old marker light setting. Total cost for this mod: |
