Just an update on Rear Speaker box cover... About two months ago I said car was going in early Dec. for rear speaker cover project. Here's where we are ... The new Box is almost complete. Stage one is done. Now goes to Chris to make a mold and than it will be painted to match color of Kat (the four screw holes will not be in final piece). This new fiberglass cover will fit over the speaker box and use the same existing holes (on side and rear) as stock cover to secure to speaker box.

Laddie, How is this project coming? I'm very interested in having something like this. It looks like it belongs there, like in a Vette. Any estimates on cost and availability yet? Bob |

Bob. Here's a few pics of the painted prototype. I took it back from Chris (person making the fiberglass mold for production) and had it painted so I can use it in the World of Wheels this weekend. I'll bring the piece back to Chris on Monday and I think Chris said he needed another couple of weeks...

Laddie, does this enclosure lessen the seat position at all? An inch would hurt my comfort in the cockpit? Looks great, thanks....... ------------------ Prowler Products by GaryE, formally Carlini This message has been edited by Gary C on 08-12-2003 at 7:27 PM |

Cool pics and look Laddie. How did you get the cars parked around you to move? Did you get almost the same parking space in both the pictures? This message has been edited by whealy on 01-11-2003 at 09:12 PM |
