My rims are flaking, and I am thinking of getting them chromed or buying new rims, any suggestions?

You might think of having the barrels powder coated. They can do any color you want plus they have a chrome powder coat paint that looks good. A lot cheaper than re-chrome if price is an question.

I had some re-chromed and was not happy at all with the results. They didn't sand them down smooth.

I thought I was happy with my recorded wheel until my wife waxed them and big chunks of chrome came off on her rag. I wouldn't record me again and it takes a long time to get your wheels back. Jmo
