Dick now has 10 sets of spinners ready to go. The spinners will NOT fit the trailer at this point. The threads on the trailer are different than both the front and rear threads on the car itself.

These are the towers. Note the difference in the size of the threaded hole.

Are the spinners actually bolted to the hub, or only to the center caps? |

Al, the spinners are attached to the tower, which is screwed directly onto the hub and not attached to the center cap in any way. There is a threaded stud which can be tightened with a 5/32 hex wrench/allen wrench. The disc is threaded also and is used to help stabilize the spinner. Need4Speed, I THINK they must be chrome plated aluminum. They are NOT flimsy, thin aluminum. There is some heft to them but a magnet will not stick to them. ZProwler2000, Yes you can buy just the spinners and towers. I will get a price for that. Three of the ten sets were already sold. Two to locals who saw them at the After Christmas party and one set to First Prowler who pushed Dick to make them. The second last picture is my car, with my tower and disk installed. That is the reason for the rust on the threads, that is NOT the new one. I had started to re-assemble my spinner but had forgotten to take a picture. Yours will not have the printing on it that says FRONT. They will only fit on the front OR the rear, you can't possibly use the wrong one. I will post a pic of the spinner WITHOUT the center cap in a day or two. My hubs have rust on them so they look horrible. Yours might look better or I could clean mine up a bit. I think there are only 2 or 3 sets left, by the way. Dick has let me know when folks order them but I haven't really been keeping up with it the past few days. Michael you are quite welcome. |

Just a heads up. That is NOT an accurate picture of Dick's spinners. I will try to post a picture tomorrow. The spinners are not the same and the tower is not even close to the same. I don't think Dick's will look as good as that without the center cap. |

Sorry guys, we had our first Winter storm today so I couldn't get down to take a pic at the rental garage. We got more snow and very cold weather so picture taking outside is out of the question for awhile. Dick is going to make 8 more sets, but is keeping one for himself and one set is already sold.
