Really cool, but I am looking to buy a regular hardtop, talking with some members, I'll most likely paint black for a nice contrasting look to my Orange Pearl |

I just noticed that it looks like it includes part of the rear wheelwell, which is also part of the rear fender piece that extends down along the side. I never noticed that before. I wonder how that works. |

I think I remember someone saying the convertible top has to be removed... looks like these brackets go down the hole when the convert mechanism goes.. |

It would be expensive after buying it and having it repaired and painted and installed but if it is something you really want this would be your only chance. jmo |

It is definitely not something you are going to be switching back and forth on a regular basis. |

As I recall the convertible top and hardware need removed. The deck lid is also removed. Looks like the rear glass is missing as well as the lift gate hardware. I remember a fellow around Dayton had a black prowler with the delivery top. He spent many, many hours making the inside presentable. Cool look when complete. He may have installed a sunroof in it as well. Steve Gillespie was the gentleman's name. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008749.html This message has been edited by DublinOH on 11-24-2013 at 04:18 PM |

Just to clear the air since most Prowler owners know little about the Delivery top, the Deck lid has to be removed but the convertible top can stay on the car as a set of mounting brackets can be made to mount and attach at the same point as the converible top and can stay on all the time to be able to switch back and forth. Removing the hardtop and put the deck lid back on should take about 1/2 hour after a couple times. Great opition for trips why haul a trailer around. Just need to people to convert back and fourth and a stand to place either on when not in us. Hope that helps. |

Seen Mark from M&L in his purple at Woodward and then Steve Gillespie's at car show. Steve by far looked better but he spent a lot of time getting the fit and finish right. I do like the look and think some gold leaf lettering would be a MUST. There are only a few ever made, think 5, so one rare accessory. Got pictures of Steve's somewhere. |

That purple one looks really well done. Does it have a black ghost image of the OEM top in the paint? If so, that's pretty cool and somehow softens the whole package. |

The glass can easily be cut. All parts can be easily found or improvised. |

Remember Folks if Bullhead says it can't be done or it can't be fixed, or your screwed it's a dealer part only, (IT REALLY MUST SO!!!!!!!) But I'm sure someone who really knows at the least anything about bodywork, painting, or has any kind of mechanical ability can restore this top. JMHO toys |

I could be wrong but the TGF1, TGF2& P.Store models are all After Market. The glass that would have to fit them would be A.M. as well. If you look at the glass and frame being sold as replacement it appears exactly as M&L Delivery top. You wouldn't be using the conv. glass anyway. I'd bet it would be a perfect fit. I hope I haven't confused the issue. |

50 years of alleged body experience and you can't figure out how to put glass in a fiberglass hot rod shell??? OMG. If you're not interested in buying it, why are you even commenting and saying it looks like sh#t ( lls)? Get off!
