Is there any interest in a wall mount to hang the weekender, when not in use on the car? Enzo asked about having Dick make one/some. I can get the measurements off of Richard Jackson's but I want to advise Dick on how many would be a feasible amount to make. Richard is NOT interested in selling his weekender. I had several PMs asking about that. |

I don't know what Richard's hanger looks like. I have one of Real Rod's hangers. If you want me to get you measurements on that, let me know. I can draw it up and shoot that to you as well if needed. |

Mickey, can you post a picture of it? I don't know what brand Richard has. He only lives about 10 minutes from me so I will go look at his and show it to Dick. Thanks. |

Mine isn't together but it should be easy enough to lightly assemble for a pic. I'll get that for you. I would use it but don't have a place for it right now. Ok, so it was already together. Built that way. All you need to do is screw it up somewhere. LOL. Looks like 17 1/2"x2 1/2"x3/16" thk. flat bar with a couple of 3/8" holes drilled in it with a piece of 1 1/2"x1 1/2"x1/16" thk. square tubing roughly 9 1/2" on the long side, 9 5/16" on the short side (or a piece cut square and slightly cocked up when welded), bolted with 2 wood screws and washers. I have the get-a-way that pantera made so it is larger than the weekender but would think it should still fit? If so I would want one as I have been looking for a solution for awhile. This message has been edited by Mr.Mcgoo on 06-24-2013 at 05:05 PM |

I spoke to Dick and he said he can make some. It will be a little while until he gets to them. Maybe a couple of weeks. |

I finally got up to Richard's house to check it out. His is exactly the same as Mickey's. I will give the info to Dick and he will work on improving it, I am sure. lol Hopefully he can make 5 or 10 of them in the next couple of weeks. They are much simpler than I expected. I wanted to see one in person so I could explain it to Dick, a little more clearly. Thanks for the feedback and sorry about the delay. |

McGoo, I would think it would work since the getaway is simply wider than the weekender????? I really don't know the diff. in dimensions. Is it also taller? or deeper? |

Thanks Enzo. The only possible problem I could see was the clearance to the wall, which is only an inch or so. The Prowler trunk is curved but your wall probably isn't. I doubt if there needs to be any changes made to accommodate the getaway. Thanks again. |

Enzo, I have mentioned it to Dick a couple more times. He says he can do it but they are fairly busy right now. I just said something a couple of weeks ago about that and dash rings. I will see what I can get done. |

I spoke to Dick today and he didn't seem interested at all. I just re-read the entire thread and I will get on his case about making them. He figured there was no interest but he could make 10 and sell them quickly, I am sure. Stay tuned. |
