Larry, I am sorry to hear you want to sell your Kat. Are you going to go to the next run? Maybe Marvin would want to buy yours. He has a Silver that was kinda beat up and abused by the prior owner. I will pass it on to everybody. Good luck on the sale. Steve

POA members,

I'm pleased to announce that I am the new owner of a 2000 Black Prowler w/trailer and I have a story to go with it! Larry King and I sealed the deal on 7 Jun in Seattle, Washington. He is a great guy and was very helpful during the transaction, especially since he was working with me in Japan and a new loan officer at my bank in Tucson.

I intended to drive my new cat from WA to CA along the scenic Pacific Coast Hwy. Unfortunately, while gazing at the beauty of the Washington sunset I hit a block of wood in the freeway and bent my front drivers side rim.

After a couple of days trying to find a replacement rim locally (I knew that was wishful thinking) and trying to find someone to straighten it out, I decided to rent a truck, put the trailer in the back, loaded my black cat onto a car carrier and drove the rest of the way to Sacramento, CA.

While driving back, part of I-5 was closed due to a major accident. Larry told me that I would get comments about the car, but this amazed me. While the car on the trailer stuck in traffic a woman slowly drove by and said "you have a beautiful car!" Wow! I wasn't expecting comments like that while the car was still on the trailer!

Once I finally got to Sac, I was able to get the rim straightened out. I'd never seen a Prowler in Sacramento before, and was beginning to think I was the only one. As I was driving my repaired cat home I saw SLEEKTY's cat in front of Johnnie Walker Performance Center. Nice ride...chrome everywhere, custom lambo doors, polished frame...Beautiful!

The story ends with me showing my family and friends my new ride and finally putting it in storage at a friends house with my other car, Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Spyder.

I'm USAF stationed in Japan. I'll be leaving Japan soon for a 2yr tour in Korea.

752 days to go...but who's counting?

P.S. I have a question from all of this. When my tire lost pressure the light did not come on and I heard a repeating ding instead of a constant tone. I hit the wood near the valve stem. Could I have damaged the low pressure sensor?

Maybe so. Repeating ding means air is leaking fast I believe. Light on dash should have came on also. Got to avoid those road hazzards, lol.
