Very clean 1974 Corvette L-48 Coupe for sale. An outstanding example of a 74 T-Top Vette with only about 6000 miles put on the car since a $30K refurbishment in 1989 which included a complete mechanical rebuild (engine, trans, differential), all new suspension, brakes, new interior, new Gel-Coat and paint, all rubber weather seal, all rubber vacuum hoses etc. Numbers matching 350 CID with Edelbrock Performer intake and Edelbrock AFB carb. Erson Cam. Runs and drives like a champ. TH400 trans with B&M shift kit installed. TRW composite rear spring. Wide BFG tires on Centerline rims. Silver interior with leather seats, leather-wrap steering wheel, power windows. Body work is extremely straight- no ripples anywhere. Paint is a multi-coat custom paint job which looks black at night, maroon on an overcast day and like Dorothy's ruby slipper in bright sun. This effect was achived by laying on silver metal flake, followed by several coats of candy red clear and then several coats of smoke clear. Asking $17K OBO. Reduced to 14,995 OBO on 8/20/05 Clean California Title. This message has been edited by lavka on 08-20-2005 at 07:09 PM |

Black license plates were used during that year model. The original plates were black with 6 yellow digits. They used 3 letters and 3 numbers for the digits. The newer plates are white with 7 blue digits. |

quote: Guy, I am in the process of moving to Texas at present and the car is in storage out of state now. I had regular plates for the car but you can buy black plates in Hemmings or on Ebay and take them to the DMV. If the number on the black plates is unused the DMV will let you put them on your car.
quote: Steve, I have no pics right now and I can't take any in the near future. Sorry. I will have the car in Marble Falls, TX in another month or so. I could take some pics then. This message has been edited by lavka on 06-16-2005 at 11:05 AM |

Was wondering why the subject line says T-top and the message body says coupe, but the picture shows a convertible? |
