Had a great time on Carlisle this year and discussed a possible event in the Fall. Well here it is!

Greenfield, IN September 23rd through the 25th.

Friday - arrive at the hotel (Hampton Inn - Greenfield) Enjoy a group dinner at the Cracker Barrel next door to the hotel (~4-4:30pm)

Saturday - Attend Caffeine and Chrome (9-12) @ Gateway Classic Cars in Carmel IN, we'll be the featured car club with reserved parking!, (12-2) have a group lunch at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers right around the corner from the car show and then cruise back to the hotel. (4-6) visit with Larry & Sue Mayes ( & Wildcat) at their home in Greenfield. (6:30 - ?) Enjoy a group dinner at the Kopper Kettle in Morristown IN.

Sunday - have breakfast at the hotel and say our goodbyes.

Greenfield is just east of Indianapolis and a short drive ( to Amanda & I that means anything less than 8 hours) from many of you. With a little luck, we're hopeful that Larry & Sue Mayes - longtime prowlin' friends and contributors will be able to participate in the weekend festivities. It would be great to see some of the folks that haven't made it to an event this year, and to those that have...let's keep the party rolling.

My goal is to have the details finalized by the end of this week. Please get the dates blocked out on your calendars!

Hampton Inn Greenfield - I have (10) qty king rooms and (20) qty double queen rooms reserved under my account at present. I'm waiting for the GM to call me back. DO NOT CALL THE HOTEL YET.

The King rooms for the weekend (Fri & Sat) are $411.37 total including tax
The Queen rooms for the weekend (Fri & Sat) are $370.99 total including tax

After a long consideration, I have decided not to attend this event.
It is my hope that it is successful and enjoyable to all those that are in attendance.

Andrea, if you are coming through Dayton, Route 70, you can park your vehicle here, drive our Prowler over. I can take one of our others, probably the Viper?

I hope to be able to attend some of the scheduled events

But for the most part we don’t go out much, never know what kind of day Sue will have. She isn’t a morning person, so normally mid afternoon before she is up and able to go anywhere

My Prowler hasn’t gotten started this year yet & not street able until it is completely checked from work done last year. Also doubt Sue can get in & out of it.

I hope no one that comes is disappointed if we can’t join in . Hoping my daughter can stay with her so I can join in some.

But everyone is welcome to come to the house. Have a big house & plenty of yard to park cars in (probably 10-12 in the driveway) without getting in the yard.

Suggested to the cruise director (aka Steve Clark) catered meal here @ the house for Saturday

Can move cars out of garage that is heated and air conditioned, set up tables &chairs, have another room just off garage, 3 bathrooms in house. Sue could come down & if she wasn’t doing well she & some of the ladies could go upstairs to be comfortable

I’m putting this out there as an option, or you could then visit before or after dinner but she also doesn’t stay up very late 10 is a late night for her

Just don’t want anyone disappointed if we don’t get to join in

Sounds good John. Dayton is a little over 3 hours from our house along the way. Coming rt 30 to 71 to 70. We can meet up somewhere along 70.
Or, we could meet up with Andrea at Cambridge rt 77 and 70 exit Cracker Barrel, and come on over? … R.
